Reevesy is doing OK

When was the last time he played a competitive game of football? Struggling to remember the last time i saw him on the field.

 

Not in sport it's not obvious at all.

Plus I am sorry mate but people have problems in life. No one has a perfect life.

I don't know the in' and out of the situation and I hope he's ok of course, we all do but the communication or lack of is down to other things if you ask me. The communication needs to be more open.

 

Bristol Rovers away, he was outstanding in the game until he was injured about the hour mark. We were drawing 1-1 when he went off and we lost 3-1. A certain midfielder now at Exeter scored from a clever Wyke backheel and our bearded wonder French captain missed a sitter at 2-1.

 

Christ i remember going to that game, we were bloody awful. A woeful performance, lots of very old angry home fans and McCall having a heated discussion right in front of us while the game was going on with the halfwit that is Chris Lane. Halcyon days.

I think @NorthernMonkey has it bang on, if it's a personal issue why are we constantly told it's an injury?

 

Lost my dad a few years back. I am not old mate.

That was a different game RT. It was the time we lost 4 0 because it's the only time I've ever been to Bristol Rovers. The club also provided free coaches for fans.

Yep, I think so. It was certainly icy where we were.

 

The only time we have lost 4-0 away to Bristol Rovers was in 1994 and I don't think Reeves was playing then. @Rogered Tart remembers it well as does @Onside. The Shippers coach nearly hit the corner of the One in a Million school as it slid down the road when picking up at Valley Parade.

No mate it was the right game, it was the one that the club put on free coaches but it finshed 3-1. i remember the game well, a bit like PTSD.

That was the one. I watched the coach slide down the hill, the one thing that sits in my mind was how angry the fans were in the top tier of the small stand.

 

That's more than likely, Law's goal was probably the season before. I remembered the penalty, it was at the far end from us and no-one could see why it had been given. I seem to think finding out afterwards that one of their players kicked the ball onto his own hand and an old-timer ref (Lee somebody) gave us a fortuitous spot kick.

 

Typical football fans stuff @bantamJS some just slag players when they dont know the actual circimstances.
