For me, edin and Stefan have severely underestimated how much money they needed to spend both in terms of infrastructure and the first team.

Fact is we'll end up selling 5/6k less season tickets and spend 6 figures on the pitch meaning the playing budget will be cut again. If this is the case without investment then it's likely we'll be in a relegation fight next year.

I believe it was a third party that introduced them Edin wanted to run a football club and Stefan thought it worth the risk.
Stefan is the money man for sure and anyone who has amassed his wealth is no fool, but is running a football club a step too far for Stefan ?.

In recent seasons we depended on a decent income from success in cups and on previous transfer windfalls. They would have been acutely aware of this and of the lack of ground assets especially as Edin alluded to how they sourced a Club to get involved with.

Stefan is most certainly the money man Bronco.
In answer to your question I firmly believe to run a football club you should be in and around the stadium at every opportunity not doing business from afar and trusting others it's asking for trouble in my opinion.

It depends what his goal is. Is he in it to get a return on his investment, or is he in it purely to help out Edin? If it's the former, then I'd be interested to know how he plans to get his money back, over what timescale, and what happens if he does? I think it's common knowledge that not many people make money from running a football club, especially in the lower divisions.

I wouldn't neccessarily say that's true. Look at most of the Prem teams. They are owned by foreign consortiums, many who hardly ever visit the club. I don't see what Rupp could do differently if he was sat at his desk at VP every day.

    Premiership been the optimum word.
    Loads of money.
Far superior employees on a tidy wedge.
They don't have to worry about a silent investing buisness partner.

I remember a quote from Edin saying he wishes Rupp was with him so they could really move the club forward

Well, for me @Walter White@Walter White if you ask someone a question you have to believe the answer that they give you otherwise why ask the question?

You may not like or agree with their answer but it is their answer and unless you have evidence that they are not being truthful then it's probably best to take their answer on face value until such a time that you can show they are not truthful.

I get your points, and it would be foolhardy to underestimate anyone of them.
However, the most telling for me will be the breakdown of any lost sales, with regards to financial setbacks. It would be wrong to anticipate all those 5/6k fewer were all Adult sales. I daresay many would be kids and flexicard holders ? If that proves to be the case, then the overall income would not be as poorly affected as some expect.
