Well no we haven’t had confirmation, but I have heard rumours from different ppl. You are right no confirmation yet.

 

Maybe he should apply to go on Dragon's Den. I wonder what his pitch would be ? (no pun intended)

 

If true then it can be added to a list of unhappy sponsors. Sponsors in the past were made to feel welcome. Their investment worked both way. Accountants might think they have to pay for the privileged that comes with sponsoring BCAFC and its one way traffic.

Bradford City are a family club. Lots of our past/present sponsors have been involved in sponsorship with the club as they felt part of the family. It was a two way thing.

Unfortunately the sense of family has been very much diluted. A more hard lined approach has been taken. Lets see if it works out. My guess is we are not Man United and upsetting potential investment from caring sponsors will not be easily replaced.

For those ITK, asking for a model higher than what was a freebie, is arrogant pulling the plug is of no surprise.

 

I agree if it doesn’t get in the way of the sponsor paying the going rate.

 

You get what sponsors are prepared to pay, you certainly don’t bin them off before you have more sponsors signed up!

 

I agree. Is it the end of the contracts? If it is then they should be looking for the highest bidder

I can agree that sometimes journalists have their own agenda City fans or not. However, if this was the only thing that had happened I wouldn’t take too much notice. We hear one rumour after another, I have been going to watch City since I was a lass, and I can honestly say I have never ever heard as many negative rumours coming out of our club in all those years. Yes some of them will be fake I have no doubt, but it just keeps on coming, and you listen to the denials and I don’t believe them, but why don’t I believe them?

I welcomed our new owners with open arms, I knew they wouldn’t be throwing money at it, but they stated very clear ambitious targets. It was like music to my ears after all the dark years and they would build on what had already started.

Now I am left wondering what they are doing here.

 

Or a contract already in place. JCT signed a 3 year deal starting 13-14, this was then renewed when it ended so would run till end 18-19.

That would probably explain why there has been no coverage of the search for a new shirt sponsor as the current deal still had a year to run
