Who needs to be told these days about language like this? Why is it the clubs fault this is still happening? Why are you holding the club responsible for this today? How would the club stop YOU from speaking at a home game? They can't. So stop being silly and asking the club to do something about it FFS. Unless you have a solution they can utilise?

 

Sadly its creeping in more and more

 

The club should communicate better with all fans. This clearly is a problem and it needs addressing.

Ban them for life and make it clear to everyone.

 

Tends to happen when society in general is shite. This government in charge has ruined this country.

A couple of individuals fuelled with drink who already no doubt have a cave man mentality however disgusting and out of order this is hardly screams of our club having a problem. If a num skull suddenly decides to shout racist language out of nowhere then in all honesty apart from making an example of said individual if they are caught there is not much else the club can do. With regards racism and our club I'd go as far as say we as a whole are light years ahead of other clubs I've attended. It wasn't too long I've witnessed away fans attempting to make a cheap jibe at our long standing Asian community, and I've lived in Lancashire the majority of my life and attended many many Blackburn and Burnley games and it's safe to say with regards racism these 2 are literally miles and miles behind us.

There's no statement about what might be being investigated. No call for people who saw/heard anything.

If there was a racist incident, tell us, and let us know the outcome.

Fordy is obviously right about this, in all ways.

I'm assuming there absolutely was not an incident as it's definitely important enough to have a statement made immediately, yet no immediate statement.

Therefore, there probably was no incident.

 

There was a bit of commotion in East stand between b and c, some of our cavemen waving their clubs and hurling abuse at Wimbledons no.14.. funny how they were complaining when he gestured back to them.. all a bit of banter but certainly didnt hear anything racist.. maybe its time the club took action against these cavemen

 

So people won't hurl racist abuse at a football match under Labour Government then?

 

the club put messages about racial and sexual abuse on the big screen and also over the pa system, i am not sure what else they can do , other than a ban for said individuals, if identified.
Ultimately it is the individuals responsability to behave. unfortunately some in society can not.
