Pre season friendlies

The first goal was the worst nobody moved

 

"Every time I see it". Glutton for punishment I think! Heard keeper was unconsolable after the game, jumped in front of a bus but it went under him.

 

Just really bad goals. Only pre season so try not to read too much into it but based on last season it doesn’t seem to have improved much

 

That's my concern too we shipped a boatload of goals January onwards and not much has changed
Can't even take any comfort in our attack out scoring the opposition either as that is many many times weaker
Having said that it's going to be a very strange season and absolutely anything can happen

 

We do not have a "Leader" at the back, We need a CB with a strong personality to forge the defense in to a unit, The CBs we have at the moment are much of a muchness with no natural leader

 

Jake Wright still available. But cannot see us looking at any with the amount of contracted CB's still here

 

That's what I think too. Makes getting a midfield general in all the more urgent imo.

It's ok, Billy still loves us.

 

A family friend knows him, believe he would be willing as lived locally but we’ve not been in touch. Would be a very useful signing imo.

I think a lot of the goals we concede where we just let them run through us would stop if we had a leader at the back or even at centre mid. got some good footballers in those areas but no natural leader and it really shows at times
