    Good some of the young lads are getting some game time. Hope they're showing up well.

    Forgot about Longridge. Is he over 21? Can he play right back? If he can't then I'm not sure how he's fitting in but hard to see him leaving given the current circumstances so it just adds more to the lop sided squad we have.

    If only one of these youn lads were a season on and more likely to make more of an impact in the first team then we could focus our money elsewhere but it's clear we need a strong central midfielder as well as a right back and a pacey forward.

    We could do with another friendly to actually play in the shape we want to play in and let the first choice players get used to it otherwise the first match is going to be a horror show.

    Spot on. Anyone other than Teflon and the anger would be palpable.

    So this is where the issue lies. There are too many people willing to accept mediocrity to keep Teflon at the helm.

    Yet we lose to a championship side in a friendly and everyone loses thier minds. Bolton lost 5-1 to wigan and lost 3-0 to crewe. No one is going to suggest they wont still crack on for promotion!!

    So why is a relegated team expected to lose by a 4 goal margin (who are widely backed to win the league) yet against the same team a 1 goal loss is pandemonium for us!? Bonkers if you ask me.
