And here's me thinking this was a thread about pre season friendlies ! How wrong could I be, it's all about some stupid bet that another poster has been goaded into. Who cares if he's donated to the burns unit, my trust in human nature is if he says he has, then he has.

If (which I highly doubt based on his persona on here) @Rcbantam has made a donation then he or she will have an email to confirm.

Let me guess, you've deleted that email as well? Lost your password for that email account perhaps?

Takes a bit of a sick-minded individual to joke about making charitable donations to something close to all of us.

I don't think two posters on a football forum disagreeing with each others post and offering to back up their opinion by donating to the BBU could be classed as Bet 365, if you take time out go look you'll see there is part of this forum for bets to be documented and then USUALLY the loser pays up.

Why would you expect apologies I paid the bet I lost and posted proof as others have done in the past I'm sure you're aware why, you then replied, feck you and all of you trying to take the moral high ground, not a nice reply so I asked if you had paid your bet as you said you would win or lose, you've brought all this on yourself and won't be getting an apology from me.
But you will get a reply from me when you try your wind ups, which most of your posts are to get a bite.

Back on subject . Why are our pre season games always so unimaginably shit

Who do you expect us to play? It's a common type of schedule at this level. The vast majority of Premier League clubs will only play another English club if it is in America or Australia so realistically the highest level we are likely to play is Championship and we are playing Hull with 1 or 2 matches still to be announced.

 

I want the complete opposite to a premier league side . Something fairly local non league wise - Scarborough , north ferriby, Whitby , tadcaster something along them lines would be lovely

 

Yes I remember going to a couple of pre season friendlies at Scarborough back in the 60/70s.

 

We're always going to go to clubs like Eccleshill and Brighouse first who we have partnerships and relationships plus if we play the u19s it doesn't matter after them there's not a lot of point playing clubs like that as you don't gain anything from them. Bury is a different and unique friendly with it being the first of the merged club. An issue for a lot of non-league clubs now is that they have 3G pitches and some managers don't like it, normally we would have announced the BPA match by now but i wonder if Hughes is pushing back on it and it ends up being an u19s match.

 

Middlesbrough at home added on 26th and BPA away added a week before.
