Why would anyone use it to go backwards?

Honestly? At 44 I'm more than happy to go back a couple or 3 decades.

    Not my advice.....https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/coronavirus-vaccine/

How the COVID-19 vaccine is given:
The COVID-19 vaccine is given as an injection into your upper arm.
It's given as 2 doses, at least 21 days apart.

Where have you got the idea that it is a single dose of the vaccine from? Please copy and post the link.

here is an article from last week. Apparently Blair is going off what ex NHS chief of immunisation said that a majority of the benefit is from the first shot.

I saw it in one of the papers the other day. Because of the urgency of the situation they were thinking of giving one dose. I will see if I can find it

Hospitals... are, could be over run with patients. Well if that's the case why the feck are doctors nurses doing dance routines on fecking tick tok. And why are they quietly dismantling the Nightingale hospitals.

It's all bull shit. We're being lied too.

The former NHS Chief retired in 2013, qualified as a doctor in 1969 (five year training minimum at that juncture), so likely to be in his mid 70’s, may not be up to date with all the current research and practice.

It would mean a significant change in Government Policy. Even if it were implemented and was administered to say half the population, then there is still the logistical exercise of delivering to the population and determining who should be given the full immunisation and those the ‘half dose’. You could see someone attempting to sue the government/NHS for not fully immunising a relative who subsequently died of the condition. A potential problematical approach.
Apparently Johnson/Witty/Van-Tam take questions from members of the public, here is your and/or @Park bantam@Park bantam big chance!;)

I wasn’t agreeing with him. Just pointing you in the direction he was on about.

mad for suing, one dose is still giving a bigger protection than both doses of Oxford

Mine is predicted as May, as I said above. I'm 64 and there are 18-20 million people ahead of me in the queue.
So the idea that young, fit footballers will be vaccinated sometime this season seems fanciful, to say the least.

The Nashville thing is being connected to some bloke who believed the 5G bollocks. Conspiracy theory has a lot to answer for. (I didn't really mean to say that but vaccine I had as a child makes me say things I can't help). Still, I understand why people are reluctant to be injected with tracking devices but they can do the sensible thing and inject domestos.

7 games off in League One tonight. Only 1in League Two. If you assume things will get worse before they get better, and surely they will, likely to be a huge backlog of fixtures.

    That's just not true.

The 'Oxford' vaccine dosage has been refined to give a similar protection to the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine. It also 'fully' protects against severe COVID-19.

The 'Oxford' vaccine announcement is imminent (this week, possibly today) and we will have 4 million doses to use immediately and 40 million over the next three months.

It is a real game changer.

answer to your first question is to try and boost moral, actually try and forget about what is going on for maybe 30 seconds.. answer to your second question, they are being closed due to not having the staff to staff them. where did you think those staff were going to come from?

I'm going to stop there with you before I say something I regret.

Don't we need to be asking the geniuses that made those hospitals in the first place?

    Pretty embarrassing.

I think it makes a pretty good argument that front line NHS should be first inline for the vaccine

I think the idea is initially to give some protection for many people and then follow it up later

It doesn't work like that Park. All the trials and testing are based upon 2 jabs weeks apart.

You can't just give a jab out in January and then one 6 months later. It renders the whole vaccination fruitless
