    At the time yes and Hopkin did drop him.

    We needed to be more solid and control games.

    Also he wasn't playing well.

    Ozil is one of Arsenal's best players and has he dropped recently for the same reasons.

    If no offers come in for Payne then he stays. If offers come in the he will be sold.
