Hope you're right. That'd be a great start for the last half of the season.

 

Both players have taken their chance to play regular football and for me there have been performances from both which have made me totally forget they are loan players, such as been their sheer commitment whilst playing for us in difficult circumstances.

 

Not ours, but obviously the standard of player needed to progress.

Tbh the article reads more like Wagner is pleased with their time at city and he would be happy for that to continue but if something did come up for either player they would look at it and rightly so, although I can't see Obrien going back not so sure about Payne especially if a offer comes in with only 6 months on his contract left.

I agree with Ricky. Sadly Jack's form has alerted others. I am not ITK but I know from contacts that the Makems are very keen and hear others also. Don't forget Jack's contract runs out this summer and Dean Hoyle will not want to loose financially on an asset.
Equally for us there is the question of Town's valuation if Payne were to go and on top of that there are wages to consider, Town are currently paying half as I understand which if true would be a fairly standard deal with players from higher level clubs joining such as us.
I hope I'm wrong but think Jack could be gone at the end of the window, however, if so have faith in DH getting a good replacement now he has control of transfers.

 

Yes. Let’s have this debate again. Having lived in Leeds most of my life, I couldn’t understand the hatred towards Leeds either. Leeds fans were baffled by it too. I know Leeds in the 80’s were particularly unpleasant etc but Leeds as rivals is non existent

 

Depends what you mean by younger generation. I’m 45 and I’ve hated the bastards since having to fight my way through a bunch of them armed with them sharpened up golf umbrellas.
