Hmmm. No he's making sure that the debt is to him meaning that if he was to sell the club it's 1.5m first then the rest.

You can ask the club yourself if you are really that bothered.

 

I think he will stick with a system where possible like you say Fordy. When he was here before he did say that it you are at home and your CBs are being pressed we need to be able to react without looking to the bench for guidance, like the keeper using the fullbacks/windbacks.
Whatever happens he'll want to play a possession/passing game : 3-4-1-2 probably but still be flexible when the situation calls for it. Whichever way we go about things it should be better to watch than what was served up under Gary Bowyer, even when we were up near the top.

 

I know what was said tonight but I am about 50/50 whether he will be with us end of the transfer window. The one thing I am more certain about is it will take a more substantial financial offer to prise him away than I perhaps thought beforehand. Lets be frank, its still the case if Vaughan doesn't want to be with us it will make a mockery of the 'team unit' comments made by Stuart and Callum tonight and have an adverse affect on the togetherness. But if Vaughan isnt there I will confidentially predict an adequate replacement will come in in his place (i.e. it wont be left to the others we currently have)
ps as others mentioned Cooke came across really well tonight, I know I was pro his return before it happened but was pleased with what he said and his general demeanour about being back at the club

I agree. In his last spell with us Stuart boasted that we'd played 6 different systems in the first 6 games of one season. That just doesn't work with League 2 players. I hope he's learned from that but I suspect he hasn't. Choose how you're going to play, make sure everyone knows and understands the system, pick your best players for it and only change it for injuries or loss of form.

You're not getting it. Being fooled by Ryan's words.

Rupp is LENDING the club money..LOANING IT! Yes he owns the club but the club is 1.5m in debt to him meaning that like any loan he will want his money back.

He could be charging interest on that LOAN.

Also if the club is valued at say 2m then it will be 3.5m to buy the club as he debt to him will need paying.

The 1.5m LOAN could also be off putting to buying due to them more than likely having to cover that debt.

The POSITIVE is that Rupp can write off his own if a buyer came in but I doubt he will.

My reading from today is that like some other extremely poor owners he is going to us the club as a bank. We need to pay him back for the good of the club.

 

Love Stuart but listening to him talking tactics was extremely worrying at that point.

I just believe you play your own game and let teams worry about you.

There is something in this Fordy, I very much get the impression with Stuart that first and foremost he is looking for characters who will bond and forge a real 'team spirit' and this will be a massive factor in how we do this season. Cooke and Watt are potentially good players as well which helps, but there has to be a togetherness for Stuart to also thrive

 

Forging team spirit is Stuart’s strength cracking the whip when things go wrong has been his weakness

I think all five speakers came across well tonight Ryan Sparks was very open Stuart spoke well and both Cooke and Elliots seem good characters I was very impressed how mature Elliot sounded for a 20 year old

 

Did you have a “good giggle” then?

I thought it was a very positive event with lots of good things said by all parties.
