I agree the club went on and on about youth development, then brought in a manager who is only bothered about results and not developing youngsters for profit. It’s the club who have yo-yo’d on this not Adams he’s just acting as he has at every club he’s been at. If they wanted someone who shared their vision(I’m still not sure what it actually is) they should have gone for a head coach rather than old school manager.

 

Well I'm glad you know that's how it played out, that it was solely based on your inside knowledge that Crankshaw was 'not ready' and that it was nothing to do with inner disharmony as a result of shit performances, shit management on the pitch and a complete shitshow of the running of the club.

 

It's not inside knowledge it's public knowledge that Adams doesn't think Crankshaw is ready you don't make the statements he's made if you're not sure

 

Wigan took a punt on him and it wasn’t a success. Stockport were very keen on him before we nipped which suggests Stockport knew his position in the order of things. Personally I feel he may have been more suited to them in Jan but clearly had ambitions and who can blame him. At least he’s given it a go, good luck.

 

We can sign players out of contract or non league, Maybe a bid for Tashanga Kantashaminksi or whatever his name is at Chesterfield?

I wonder how many other members of the squad are casting an envious eye at Ollie? I can't blame him for getting out of this shambles of a club, after that totally uncalled for comment from Adams after the Crawley game. Some motivator, is Adams!

 

He was a bit of a headless chicken and his deliveries often frustrated, but the timing has surprised me. Maybe its a case of one in one out. We may have a free agent striker lined up?

 

Yeah sounds like Harriott wont be finding a club anytime soon. Boyd is past it now. As you said earlier with Wilshere and Arsenal, some free agents still train to keep fit with old clubs or old managers, like Scott Wagstaff, he's been training with Leyton Orient for a while, but doesn't look like they have any intention of offering him a deal.

It's kind of slim picking for wingers, guys like Otis Khan who have been at Mansfield and Tranmere lately are still free and i'm fairly certain we were linked with him a year or two back, and i think he lives in Manchester. There's Paris Cowan-Hall who was good a few years back but had 2 awful injury hit years with Colchester. Viv Solomon-Otabor, 25 year old winger was at Wigan last season. Got promoted under Bowyer at B'pool a few years back, got 2 goals and 4 assists in 25 starts last season. Or a few sort of 19-22 age bracket guys who were in PL2/3 sides and released without a proper run of "mens" football, so nobody knows if they have anything good.
