    Don't think he was ever in that league. A few hundred grand maybe. I doubt if Richmond was ever VAT registered, he would have found a way around that !

    Its the timing of it after Adams comments on Saturday. If he doesn't rate him then fine, but he actually came on and made a difference with an assist in the last game, we have players who offer far less but i guess no one wants them. Can't admit we are skint now though after making a 'small' profit on him. I'm expecting we have a player lined up...

    I don't think that's quite correct.

    I thought we could only sign players who were out of contract before the transfer window closed and remain out of contract.

    I do not believe we can sign contracted non league players (which would account for almost all those playing in the National League and National Leagues North & South).

    Too early to judge the lad Sparks Fordy. He's making improvements behind the scenes, as for footballing matters you have gone on record as saying you don't think that as CEO he should be anywhere near football related decisions.
    And like your goodself Derek Adams says it as he sees it. Early days IMO.
