Just had a quick perusal on the County forum , based on some of the comments they see on here some think they have signed Sterling.

I didn’t realise it was on a three year deal, crikey. Now I know why he’s gone because he wouldn’t have got another with us I honestly believe. Good deal all round , for us , getting a fee and him a wage for three years.

Who is next? Jan is yet a few weeks away.

Well I rated Crankshaw above Gillead but what do I know.
From the shit show on Saturday he created our goal where Gillead was invisible the entire game.
I really do think this is going sour very quickly for Adams. Lose or even draw on Saturday and I think the Bowyer treatment from fans is very near.

 

I was talking about the players brought in prior to getting into the Premier League plus the ground funding you are talking about I thought was for the main stand.

Normally you would be right but these VAT payments were deferred due to the pandemic- not just for them, for lots of businesses too. I believe they have come to an agreement about a repayment schedule.

I’d be really worried if we had to let someone go who had got most of our assists this season (joint with Cooke) to bring in someone on a free. Anyone on a free transfer now is going to be on the bare minimum in terms of wages and I’d be asking why they were still unattached.
We surely can’t be that skint that we can’t afford someone who hasn’t found a club by October.

i do recall some posters here saying that Stuart was too pally but now Adams is too harsh. Cant have it both ways!

 

I suspect there may have been more going on behind the scenes with Crankshaw for a while that we don't know about.

I think the club meaning Rupp/Sparks will get the sour treatment before Adams.I want to be positive but this club just drains it away ,let’s just hope for a good win on Saturday.

 

Agree Dave. Too many are weeping crocodile tears over a player who's never made it anywhere near becoming a regular for us since he arrived. Flattered to deceive in the odd cameo, but largely a headless chicken who didn't seem to know how to link up with the players around him.
