People were praising Adams honesty etc on Saturday but I did think his comments on Crankshaw were poor. Good man management goes along way to having a successful team.

 

I know it looks like madness but allow Adams some leeway on the method here if he thinks Crankshaw is a non league player then he won't be able to help us out

Maybe the new guy will be the perfect addition who knows

 

Crankshaw has offered more than Gillead so far this season.

 

I’m trying to keep faith in Adams, certainly I’ll give him the season at least but he does seem to stick with an ineffective formation and ineffective players.

Best of luck to the lad, I thought he was crap but due to our lack of options this is a big surprise he should at least have been getting more game time and forcing Gilliead to up his game. I can only hope it’s used to a free agent of quality but more likely be used towards Rupps next car.

Adams said that he would have liked him to stay and fight for a place, however, the lad had received an offer he couldn't refuse.

So, has Adams had no say on this then, an offer made which the club accepted because we are skint, and then Crankshaw accepted terms no doubt better than he was on here.

If a player has a bad game, do you see other managers showing them the door? Or do they put an arm around them and offer them confidence boosting words of wisdom and set up a tailored plan to help them improve?

Sorry but the club chose a management style so we can't expect him to change everything to suit a preference for young players who may or may not have potential whether it's Staunton or Crankshaw
