Exactly. I was disgusted at his behaviour on the pitch last week and the pathetic excuse he gave afterwards and that hasn't changed. However, if he is going to be picked to play I'm not going to boo him, I'm going to support the team of which he is part. Fair play to him, he had a very good game today but he is still a tosser in my eyes.

 

Absolutely, I class that as bringing the game into disrepute and total lack of respect for our club, surely we can sack him without having to pay the bastard.

Remember when the players were made to go to the Stephen Darby appreciation night, an exercise supposed to galvanise the squad and make them appreciate what it is to play for our club. I remember a game where Darby was captain as Jones was on the bench. When Jones came on Darby made a big thing of giving Jones the captains armband, both those players knew what it meant to captain this club. Both of these greats must be hurting seeing what has happened to our club and the disregard some of the present squad seem to have for it and our fans.

 

Just about what I expected to hear, and do you know what, against the tide I have some sympathy for him...

Watched it again and still think he throws it off as if he doesn't want to have it. The statement is a load of crap too. He will have been forced to do it. I don't see how an armband can be so irritating through a shirt. He's a bloody fairy and a complete and utter shi&e player.

 

We desparately need a face and voice of the club, Julian has never been this and we can't expect him to be this now, he is a man behind the scenes.

There is no chance of getting Dave Baldwin back despite the fact he is Bradford through and through.
James Mason is the man, surely his role could allow him continue with his agency. We need someone apart from Roger Owen to spell out the mess we are in but also rally the fans.
We may frustrated and angry but if we desert the club it is finished.

 

I think it is a diversion tactic. Rather than face up to how utterly shocking we were, we instead create a 12 page thread discussing an armband.

Me thinks we have more serious problems.

But hey, it is has been the most fun thread for a while.

 

Even the EFL program this morning are questioning the O'Connor stiuation, I suppose after a performance like yesterdays there is very few positives that can be taken from our footballing display.
I do hope we announce Gary Bowyer early Monday morning.
That will give him 33 points to play for, hard call to keep us up yes, but new face new ideas who knows.
