Let’s make things relative. It’s probably the worst thing a Bradford footballer has done ON THE PITCH, representing the club. What the players do in their free time is NOT representing the club. Just like joe bloggs out on a Saturday night doesn’t not represent his employers .Some real drivel on here sometimes.

Yep, drivel. Having watched the footage, the knee jerk reactions, the explanation, the refusal to back down. The whole thing means FA to me, couldn't care less

Bits of loose thread can be uncomfortable and distracting when you're playing sports. My son's a footballer and he's very particular about how his kit feels too. Although he's 8 years old. And isnt paid thousands of pounds a week to play for and captain Bradford City. Although he does share a similar penchant for talking bollocks and thinking the grown ups are idiots when he's in trouble.

 

A crazy overreaction to a nothing incident.

The fact our defenders conceded 5 is far more of a concern than taking an armband off in a moderate manner.

 

Don't do twitter or instagram and don't have any mates who are in the know.

I try and make it to as many away games as my pension will allow.

I was at the game yesterday and saw O'Connor throw the armband into the net.

I doubt it was damaged as he ripped it off his arm.

When you look at previous captains like McCall, Wetherall, Jones and Darby he should be ashamed of himself.

Would Gary Jones have tossed the captains armband into the back of the net? Probably not, would his explanation be questioned if he did? No, because he wore the shirt with pride, this bunch couldn’t give a toss.

 

You've repeatedly said that you don't even go to games anymore as you've "better things to do" so clearly the incident will mean nothing to you.

For Bradford City supporters, it's probably more of an issue.

 

No, I'd say that showed they cared. The armband incident strikes me as the complete opposite.
