Without Stuart to hold his hand,no thanks.I think probably his injuries have caught up with him.

 

I said on C & B at the time he had his best season with us, and would struggle to replicate it. I stand by that, but considering we have no experienced wingers at the club I'd happily see him back. The wage offer would be reduced though from his offer last season.

With a large pay increase on offer, he still turned us down.
His outings at Charlton weren't as good as they were at City.
His decision making is average, and only his pace got fans off their seats.
City owe him nothing, nor he to City. Where is any commitment, there ? One last pay cheque ? No thanks.

 

That's a very sensible reflection, but he was good wasn't he...?

 

No offence, but I'm glad a consortium of City fans doesn't own Bradford with the persistent touting of ex-players every transfer window.

If we think Edin and Abbott are questionable, if City fans were in charge we'd have the 2012-13 squad back.

This Summer hasn't been as bad, but I've already heard Cullen, Burke and Marshall mentioned.

There is little collective imagination in windows like these. I guess it doesn't help that whoever we do sign is generally so random you couldn't guess them.

 

Oh aye ............ Much as prefer being seated ...... I have to confess to standing, on occasion ! Even if the final product was a let down !!

 

Try spinning that one to Charlton ....... They're happy to let him go ..............

 

I'd take him back, absolutely, although I wonder if he'd have quite the same impact without McCall at the helm to manage him.

Stuart had patience and the time to place an arm around Marshalls shoulders.
Having been binned by Charlton, he'll be wanting another cuddle !

I don’t have a problem with him making the move to charlton.

Sometimes it just works for a player at a certain club. If he were happy to come back, and the numbers worked, I’d welcome him back with open arms. We missed him massively last season.

 

I'd take him back no issues, perhaps only worth a one year contract, however has he got a career limiting injury ? Strange that they are letting him go half way through his contract

 

Only an idiot would say no. We currently have 1 winger in Robinson and that's it!

 

Marshall was a big reason we reached the play offs last season. Unfortunately his form was a big reason we didn’t win the final.
