Seen inspecting Rawdon Meadows this afternoon..

 

It's all a bit sad isn't it. You'd have thought there would be people crawling across glass to manage our club. Seems to be something very wrong if there's more people distancing themselves, than putting themselves forward for the job.

Close to the club? Wouldn't be those who are just a bit miffed that the wind of change has blown and they've found themselves out in the cold? Don't have a clue either way but change always brings about resistence, doesn't mean anything's 'wrong'. If this appointment and the football that comes with it is dire I'll change my mind but I've been around long enough to know when to take things with a pinch of salt.

 

Park your posts are getting more and more illogical. Biggs says he doesn’t frequent VP these days, BUT it is common knowledge in the media circles of how Edin is running the club.

people do genuinely think that we'd be positively delighted by failure - it's nonsense. absolute crap. I'm a Bradford City supporter, have been for 25 years, if you think i want to be able to say "told you so" more than I want my team to be successful then you are sadly mistaken and deluded.

 

I find this notion that fans want us to fail laughable. There are plenty pro and anti regarding the new owners but nobody wants to City fail. You can't support something and want it to fail, there's no logic to it. What a lot of people are doing is voicing their opinions on what they see and hear, some of isn't positive but it does not mean they want us to fail. I've watched us on and off over 30 years, i've seen us fail countless times. Never have i come away glad that we did.

 

Don't think people understand you can still support the club but also disagree with what Edin is doing

They’ve brought 2 players in so farA Hardly a big deal.

They surely risked FA fines for postponing games if they didn’t do the pitch. It’s an essential for running the business.

Edin has made mistakes but he doesn’t half come across as an arrogant sod in my opinion. His plan is probably a good thing, youth, sustainability, more professional off the field, but he needs to let the football people get on with football and he sticks to the business side. Important aspect of being a manager, delegate and the experts run their departments.

 

I think if you were paying 6 million quid for a football, you'd need more than due diligence - think a mental health assessment would be more apt.

 

Like you say absolutely fantastic effort by everyone who took the time to post.
That's why sites like Bantam Talk work regardless of age and opinions.

and nobody wants to manage a club that used to be well known as a family club but for you to now make as a BUSINESS for YOURSELF!

i have lost count how how many interviews you have repeated the same thing about the club being a successful profitable business but you NEVER talk about promotion, see the problem is you think we are happy with mid table for 10 years as long as we don't get relegated.... we can see it clear as day, all you want to do with this club is make some money from selling young players on, and you have the Gaul to think that's success for us! for you maybe, but not for us..

you are gonna soon realize how bad you messed it up when slowly all these fans who have been patient start turning on you as well...

Dave Baldwin did exactly that. Perhaps mason has been offered a better job, perhaps if Sam Collins has been sacked/ made redundant there is a good reason ?

Perhaps not everything that is happening at bcafc is some wicked plot by the evil dictator treating everyone like shit.

Well we don't have to discuss Phil Brown. Just signed a 2 year deal at Swindon.

 

Paul Scholes , i've put a whole £10 on him -----this should put him high up the odds league table .
