Exactly.

Surely the ‘evidence’ is mounting. I’m all for patience and building slowly but steadily, and I recognise that sometimes change has to be disruptive. But there are so many indicators that we have a very problematic situation at the club.

From what I hear and very much believe, Mason (and Abbot) were the last bastions of hope in terms of reigning Rahic in and lobbying for common sense and realism.

 

Dave Baldwin did exactly that. Perhaps mason has been offered a better job, perhaps if Sam Collins has been sacked/ made redundant there is a good reason ?

Perhaps not everything that is happening at bcafc is some wicked plot by the evil dictator treating everyone like shit.

Perhaps, just perhaps, we ought to let them get on with running the club and not assume the worst/ start vicious rumours over every decision made,

 

I like James Mason he is a great guy. I will wait to see if this is true first. And if it is I will see what is said from both sides. We have heard very little from him recently

 

The evidence is only mounting as you say if what you have claimed is true. If it isn’t announced tomorrow then what evidence is mounting?

When Mason was appointed most fans questioned the appointment as he had not previous experience in football, suddenly it is the end of the world if he leaves

 

Agree, there appears to be something fundamentally wrong at our club, we can keep ignoring it, but at some point the fans will find out exactly what is happening.

 

I say 'evidence'. Indicators would be a better word. The implosion of the team, poor recruitment, shocking PR, breakdown of relationships with 'the fanbase' and several of those at the club, as well as local press and sponsors.
I've had direct conversations with a couple of people very closely involved at the club who have similar tales to tell regarding Rahic's approach and how he's generally perceived by many at the club and others in the game.

 

He seems to have grown into the role and I'm sure most of us feel he's done a good job and been a positive influence. He's always spoken well and tried to empathise with fans.

 

At what point would you accept that things aren't great and that maybe, just maybe alarm bells are starting to ring?

Seems some our fans need the arse end to really fall out before they start to question things.

 

But have they confirmed Sam Collins has been sacked ?, because that's what I'm hearing.

 

He's 100% gone. Fact.

 

It already is. If you don't see it now, you won't see it. And it's that ignorance and passive attitude that worries me most.

If and when it comes to putting pressure on Rahic to sell to someone who knows what they're doing, it'll need a bit of spirit and animosity from the fans. En Masse. And I worry that we wouldn't have it. Rahic will be busy bleeding this club to death on front of our eyes and some will continue refusing to see it.

 

I believe there still contracted to the club until the end of June.

Not sacked. Just invited to no longer work at the club.

Hopkin was assisted by a guy called David Martindale who had an unsavoury past before been made assistant at Livingston.
John Hartson helped out coaching their strikers between his media work.
It's all hearsay at the minute but if Hopkin gets the Bradford job I wonder if he will bring the Livingston backroom staff with him.
Hartson is believed to be interested in the vacancy now Hopkin as left.
