It would - but the joyless pricks on here would still moan he didn't get 100pts or his football wasn't 'that' entertaining.

They followed it up with a second tweet which relates to the content of the article. I'm not sure a bit of terminology would have been worth making a fuss over.

I do feel a little for the owners. Last season they were criticised for not buying players early. This season they have done that and it seems to have been brushed aside.

The pitch has been a problem for years and they have spent money on this bearing in mind they don’t own the ground. Again surely this is a positive.

Just because the club is keeping tight lipped about the new coach doesn’t mean no one is interested or people have turned it down. An even if people have who cares you want someone coaching the team that wants to do it not just pick up a pay cheque. I actually think keeping your cards close to your chest when recruiting a coach or a player is a good thing.although it 100% frustrating for fans it makes business sense.

The constant bashing of the chairmen is in my opinion creating the atmosphere and the bad vibe around the club. I just don’t get why fans think they would buy a club to run it in to the ground it’s madness.

Before any one gets on the ‘he must like Edin’ train. Far from it he’s made mistakes but bloody hell ain’t we all.

It seems to me no matter what he does how much money he spends how he runs the club some fans will never accept it

No, I'm not. And that's some extreme assumption to make about someone you've had a 3-4 post interaction with.

Plus 4 of the 5 names there aren't very exciting

Yes it would be great but there's no requirement to submit anything other than abbreviated accounts, which for the most part are more easily read and provide a picture of the liquidity and overall health, as opposed to detailing how much we spent on staples this season

They’ve brought 2 players in so farA Hardly a big deal.

They surely risked FA fines for postponing games if they didn’t do the pitch. It’s an essential for running the business.

Edin has made mistakes but he doesn’t half come across as an arrogant sod in my opinion. His plan is probably a good thing, youth, sustainability, more professional off the field, but he needs to let the football people get on with football and he sticks to the business side. Important aspect of being a manager, delegate and the experts run their departments.

They really had no choice about the pitch, FL were asserting pressure shall we say.

That probably has something to do with the window closing 4 weeks earlier than usual.

I was cheekily suggesting that the only thing not accurate was the terminology. Whoosh.... ;)

Ye I agree he probably should loosen the reigns a little. However if I’d of bought the club I’d want to be 100% involved an know what’s going on an where my money is going. If he was completely the other way and lived in Germany and never had any input in the club there would be people complaining about that. I think to move country is a showing of how committed he actually is.

He’s going to mess up and he will probably mess up again. But I believe he will keep the club stable financially an if granted it’s a big if his vision of bringing youth through works. I think it will be really refreshing especially for a club in the third tier. Only my opinion of course

I agree and I find my self asking what all the fuss is about. Are things really that bad? Stuart was sacked due to a series of piss poor results and performances. I agree with that. They bought in Grayson to try and salvage the season. He was the best man for the job on paper. He didn’t succeed and left (nobody is privy to the reasons why). We’re now taking our time to find the right man to succeed him. This is absolutely the right approach, but for some reason people are starting to get hysterical. People are being swayed by bits in the press from papers that have absolutely no knowledge about what’s going on. People just need to sit back and wait to see what happens, show a bit of patience and realize that they are actually doing the right thing. If we appointed a manager 2 weeks ago, what benefit would that have had? All players are away on holiday. Fair enough a bit of preparation could be happening for the new season, however you would hope any new coach would have a particular training plan / style he generally implements anyway. We’re pishing ahead with signing players for the new campaign, and Whether you agree or not these sognings would have been made if we had a head coach or not.

The transfer window finishes earlier this season. We aren't any further ahead of schedule than we usually are.

They couldn't have sorted out the drainage without spending money on it.

Thus far there have been very little to no signs that lessons have been learnt. Only when there is evidence of this would you be in a position to know whether fans will accept it or not. The owners received plenty of plaudits for their first season and have to accept that when things don't go as well, fans are within their rights to criticise.

The pitch was shocking under Lawn and Rhodes during the cup run but they chose to just bodge it. It seems a proper job has been done now.

Indeed therefore leaving the pitch problem to someone else.
