Not all football fans wear colours to games.

So it’s just a coincidence that it was the Liverpool section they were jibbing into, despite Liverpool fans having a lot of previous? Nah.

 

If I had travelled abroad to watch my team, I would be wearing colours. How many supporters did you see without any colours when we got to the Final? You an expert on the layout of stadium? What areas the Liverpool gates open on to? Thierry Henry basically advises not to set foot in that part of the City. I think people immediately jumped to criticise Liverpool and are being too stubborn to back down. It's ok to be wrong now and then

The 10's of other videos showing people climbing fences must all have been Algerian too. That video proves it.

Silly me. Obvs they are Liverpool fans. I wonder why I didnt initially identify them as such. They are local french Liverpool fans beyond any doubt whatsoever. Couldn't possibly be local french lads who were just looking to get in for free . Not at all possible.

 

Was just commenting on that one video. How on earth you can clearly identify those lads as liverpool fans is beyond me. Maybe they were but on first glance it is hard to be confident at all that they were Liverpool fans. The only thing I can think of that links them to Liverpool is that they were climbing a gate at the desingnated end of the ground for Liverpool.

Maybe I am missing something more obvious that you could point out for me.

 

Jibbing into a final is seen as a rite of passage for Scouse fans, let's not pretend it didn't happen or doesn't cause issues just because other things went wrong on the day.

They are difficult to find actually. Even when I type into Google, videos of Liverpool fans jumping over gates Twitter, none come up. I can see lots of posts saying Liverpool fans climbing gates then they show Lots of vids of locals. There's one of fans climbing over a 5ft wall on the concourse on the way to the ground to avoid a crush.

They weren't liverpool fans, they were local youths.

Not according to other posters on here who seem hell bent on blaming the Liverpool fans come what may for what is now unravelling as a huge feck up by the French authorities and UEFA.

As for the Algerian court comment-not sure what you are getting at as I haven't seen any other videos to compare. They look Algerian but of course I could be wrong. Anyway they were certainly local lads as you allude to and I believe roughly 1/10 in France is of Algerian decent so I have a 90% chance of being wrong.

The list is endless with that lot but get blame UEFA or whoever the issue was that fake tickets where printed on mass wherever it be 3k or 40k if that hadn’t have happened then there may have been no issues .............. so instead of going after UEFA go after the rats who put the fakes out there ............ sadly it’s Liverpool ashamed of nothing but offended by everything

 

How do you explain legit tickets being refused at the turnstiles? Andy Robertson says he gave a friend a legit ticket and they were refused entry. Like I said earlier it seems to have been a huge screw up by the powers that be. Maybe if they had got their act together all the fakes would have been properly identified long before fans got anywhere near the ground. I would think a simple app would be able to detect a fake ticket at a perimeter checkpoint?

 

As soon as you start an argument with that then you show how ill informed and prejudiced you are.

The ban from Europe after Heysel wasn’t just because of the behaviour of the Liverpool fans, it was because of the behaviour of all English supporters for decades. That disaster was just the final straw. If it had been solely down to that one incident then only LFC fans would have been banned.
