    History repeats itself..Blame the victims - ordinary decent football fans - rather than the incompetence and self preservation of the authorities and the police:

    Liverpool are well advised to be extremely sceptical of any 'independent' enquiry organised by UEFA:

    "A genuinely independent inquiry is needed to take evidence: about the catastrophic organisation of Uefa’s great final and the claims authorities have made to pass on their responsibility – including the announcements by Uefa. This is why a certain caution may be advisable, before trusting an inquiry Uefa itself has set up."

    You feel that for balance that representatives of both Liverpool and Real Madrid should be part of the team, probably the Spanish and English FA involved, that there should be a full disclosure of all evidence considered by the inquiry team, and their identities, expeience and qualifications made public.

    The question is were they Liverpool fans? The footage i saw showed young males jumping a fence and not one was wearing red. Not saying they were not Liverpool fans but it isn't clear at all.
