I wouldn't state names or details here. But based on what I've been told from credible folks, I believe there have been at least 2 seriously interested parties over the last 2 years (not including WAGMI). I'm also told that the price quoted was way more than what Rupp/Rahic bought it for, despite the club having been relegated and having a lower value squad. I think even Sparks is on record as saying that there's interest there all the time, or some such...?

If the (many) budget rumours are to be believed a top 7 budget should give us a fair crack at promotion whilst being sustainable.
Extra revenue that comes from promotion would I’d estimate allow a middling and still sustainable budget at league 1 level.
It’s how the money is used and if you’ve a manager who can improve players-I would say ours has used poorly ( hello none 4 scoring strikers when we play 1 up top) and players being consistently poor and/or regressing

Interestingly, they said they had money to spend in the January transfer window.

Didn't we make similar statements before selling off players and bringing in a handful of loans?

 

I understand XG but I aren't fully on board with their relevance.

Now I know XG is also calculated by ease of chances and where the shots were from etc so the below is a little irrelevant is suppose but if we were to use average goals as opposed to expected goals (as they worked out now) then we could also end up with the scenario below. Could you have named Lawn or Rupp before they got involved? Had you heard of Wagmi before they made a bid? It’s not a fans job to have a directory of wealthy people ready to buy a club. That’s the job of Stefan’s brokers.
