Taylor seems to be a jack of all trades master of none, wouldnt have much confidence with him getting to the byline, beating his man and whipping in a cross. Think hes our go to utility player for the next 5 months! Not sure Pritchard is a winger either, seems to prefer to be played centrally. Looks like Ismail is made of glass, I dont think Connolly has a left foot, Devitt is no winger and Gibson is shat and should be offloaded by the end of the window. Still think we need and out and out left winger to supply this sensational strikeforce

 

On average three windows is about the length of time lower division managers get at a club. Not that many get four.

 

Good managers don't talk about transfer windows and squads for me they talk about the end goal and achieving it..

 

I get your point, I just think it's better to use Wood as a full back and keep it simple. Hes a great crosser and when the opportunity arises yeah I'm all for him getting forward. I think a proper left winger adds more balance, keeps it simple would allow Wood to fulfill his left back role which he does well. You're right about Doyle in around the box but I think with him as a combination with Donaldson/Vaughan up front, they'd thrive with crosses coming in from out wide. Helps us get more of our game being played in the final third too. It's all dependant on Bowyers formations though

Let’s see if GB changes the system now Doyle is back. If he does, then he needs a dedicated LW.
If he doesn’t, then we should have sold Doyle to Swindon and bought ourselves a new target man.

 

Agree it's all about the formation now. If Doyle is going to feature, it would be absolute madness not to change things to play to his strengths.

Mate, if we were 3rd or 2nd you'd still be moaning it wasnt good enough and even if we were top, I'm sure you'd still find something to be negative about.

 

Top 3 is a must if we are to get promoted
GB would be too worried about the opposition to win the play offs

 

Believe it or not I am not bothered if we win the league the aim has to be top 3! If we win the league it will be a bonus.

I see this league as poor and even not playing well we are 4th. Anything but a top 3 finish is failure.

Saying this I am confident we will finish in the top 3.

 

Agree mate. If we finish in a play off place I wouldn't fancy our chances at all.

Well yeah, it highlights to me we are making hard work of a situation.

Suppose due to the football we play it doesn't help my mood.

 

We were down and out in the summer with some saying we were going out. The turnaround has been more than impressive

 

Vaughan and Doyle up front I would say.

The key is do we play with at least one winger.

It's CM that concerns me. Need more forward passes, shots, through balls etc.

Too much line dancing with the ball going on in central midfield at the minute.
