You joined this message board in June and have posted 40 messages, with many of them being in this thread. If this is the standard of your posting, hopefully it will be a while before you bother again.

Fans are upset that their club is being run into the ground. They are concerned in the owners’ vision and are disturbed they have appointed someone not qualified for the job. THAT IS NOT “A HYSTERICAL OVER REACTION”.

If you don’t share that view and believe we will come good, fair enough. But don’t criticise those that have genuine concerns about the direction we are going.

You claim young players won’t respknd well to booing. Do you think they would respond better from a hair-dryer style rollicking from Abbott back in the changing room? Do you really think that won’t have happened? What’s the difference between fans expressing their anger, disappointment and frustration in sound from the terraces, as opposed to the coaching team yelling verbals at them back in the changing rooms?

Have fans forgotten Wimbledon at home last season ?
CIty fans are fast turning into Leeds fans who think they have a divine right to win matches and get promoted.
We need to be patient and let the new players and management bed in.

in close to 55 years of watching Bradford City let me tell you I have seen many, many, many worse performances.

And every single one of them was worth the big wins and lifelong memories that came alongside them.

How many of those have we had since he left?

 

Crewe was 20 years ago so if that's the one that is first on you list it shows how far back you're thinking to get comparable performances and just how unusually bad we were on Saturday. Oh, and the "several shite games" against Accy Stanley, with the exception of the FA cup defeat a couple of years ago (which was still not in the same league as the Wycombe performance and don't forget we followed that up by trouncing Rochdale to move 2nd in the table), all of the others were more than 5 years ago as well.

As for the bizarre comment about PP, if that's the case, how come only one of the matches that you chose came from his tenure?

 

Against an exceptional Bristol City side, who on that night would have battered anyone in our league, home or away.

 

I’m not defending Collins or slagging PP I’m just stating that over the years there have been worse performances than Saturday yet I’ve seen people on here say it was the absolute worst they’ve ever seen

 

I am coming home on Thursday, so everyone better buck up!! I want no slacking, every player putting in 100%, coaches to coach and prepare a workable plan a, b, and if necessary c. I want the chairman to back off and let the professionals sort it out! He needs to sort a decent loan striker out by the time I get home. I do not want any apologies or cliches I want a result!!

Any racism is clearly terrible and has no place in this debate or any other but let's be honest the only thing making us more vulnerable, more open to defeat is the fact our players aren't playing very well, which is because we have a joke of a Head Coach, a ridiculous framework for signing players, all being run by a man who is not only not qualified to be in his position, but blatantly not suited to this kind of job. I'm actually starting to think he's mad.

 

I absolutely was... hoped, rather than thought, perhaps. And I'm not suggesting that I'm not disappointed that it doesn't seem to be working out, I'm just not convinced that piling more negativity onto the situation is the right answer at the minute.

What's most frustrating for me at the minute is the total break down in communications between the fans and the club. This is where James Mason's worth is shining through. Who (if anyone) is advising Edin on PR, he said himself in the interview with Bantams Banter that he wasn't prepared for that side of it so where are the professionals the club so desperately needs. Until there's positive interaction between fans and club again, the number turning towards protests etc. is only going to get worse.

 

The fact that they have a budget that can even blow Manchester United out of the water helps. They are one of the reasons I no longer watch the Premiership the only competition there is who has the biggest pockets.
