Crewe was 20 years ago so if that's the one that is first on you list it shows how far back you're thinking to get comparable performances and just how unusually bad we were on Saturday. Oh, and the "several shite games" against Accy Stanley, with the exception of the FA cup defeat a couple of years ago (which was still not in the same league as the Wycombe performance and don't forget we followed that up by trouncing Rochdale to move 2nd in the table), all of the others were more than 5 years ago as well.

As for the bizarre comment about PP, if that's the case, how come only one of the matches that you chose came from his tenure?

 

The rise of social media and the internet also has a lot to do with it.. It has given everyone a voice, and people feel entitled to voice their opinion (and sometimes bile) without fear of repercussions. Very true. What you've omitted is whilst we may have had losing runs under PP we never had back to back spineless performances and we've had that already in Macclesfield & Southend.

Absolutely correct, it's not that long since there was widespread praise on here for a Barnsley team that were heralded as the best L1 team we'd seen since Bristol City.

I don't believe that is the answer either, everyone thinks they are trying to implement a German/European model at the club but I don't think they are.
If you remember back to when they came Edin stated that he had ideas about how a football club should be run and that is one of the reasons they bought the club. They couldn't implement their ideas in German football and I think that is the problem.
He believes his ideas are the best and won't listen to or be swayed by anybody else, only he really knows what his plans is but it doesn't seem to be working very well at the present.

I don’t think the reactions are overboard. Everything is going downhill fast. The club is in disarray and this is showing on the field.

The entertainment has been non existent for months. Every decision being taken seems to be worse and worse.

I have had a season ticket for 30 years or so and have never so detached from the club and I’m not the only one.

The sacking of Stuart for me was the beginning of the end. If Mr Bradford City couldn’t get on with the owners who else could?

To rip up everything after two play offs appearances is just madness. I’m sure previous owners have had their moments but have had the sense not to release a dvd showing what prats they were.

32 year old managers, Players signed who clearly were never going to make it in league one, appalling treatment of experienced players and good people. This is a sinking ship.

 

Thank you so much for this post which I echo whole heartedly! I have been horrified by some of the behaviour and opinions voiced by so called City fans. I went to bed concerned with the crazy demo fans and the xenophobia and racism expressed recently.
Fans currently proposing to damage the club, it's players, hardworking behind the scenes and visible staff and our owners - who are all gaining nothing but deep anxiety from the present situation should simply stay away. Their actions are making us more vulnerable, more open to defeat as other clubs see aa 'chink in our armour'.

 

Really? Do you have any examples you can share with us?

I always believed they chose a foreign club because of the difficilty of owning a German club with the 50+1 rule.
