Apples and oranges.
Since being promoted into Liverpool the First/Premiership in 1962 they have have had an almost constant stream of success, FA Cups, Euro Cups, Championships so to some extent where the ground is is meaningless because they gave built up a huge fan base.
In the 60’s, 70’s etc when they were getting 30/40 thousand Bradford City was getting 3,4 maybe 5 thousand
So trying to compare the ability of Liverpool to attract fans to their ground to Bradford City’s ability really is nonsensical,

Preston NE figuers recently released for 2018/2019 season.
They lost £14.2M in total and their revenue streams are only £13.8M - Truly eye watering.
For every £1 spend on players wages, only 18p was from matchday revenue.
Even though they are owned by Billionaire Trevor Hemmings, He has lent the club through an interest free loan £4.1M during 2018/2019.
The total debt now PNE owe to Mr Hemmings is £47M. (if he ever wanted to take it back , he won't but it's still debt)

I clicked on this to put learn how to defend corners. Not sure if I've got the wrong idea or I'm just a pragmatist.

1) sorting the pitch, properly.
2) scouting and recruitment.
Number 1 is a fundamental aspect of being a professional club. Fixing the pitch won't be cheap, but its essential. And the 'nickel and dime' approach will be more costly in the long run.
And for 2, we're so far behind its laughable. We rely entirely on the old boys network of whoever is in charge. We make no use of data analysis or 3rd party scouting services at all. It's ridiculous. Invest properly in a scouting system that gives value to the players we bring in. Over time, it'll pay for itself if its done properly.
These can no longer be seen as optional features. these are key. Its where Rupp should be investing but if he won't then trim the playing budget so we can set ourselves up for success in the longer term.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Burnley's ground is leagues better than Bradfords and is actually closer to the town centre, on flat ground with room on 3 side to grow, only the Bob Lord stand side is truly hemmed in and though Burnley is a much smaller town they demonstrably have over the past 100 years performed much better. Overall they are a Perm/Championship yo-yo team whereas we are a Div 1/Div 2 yo-yo team.
But if we are to really progress, change the overall mentality, give room to move forward then where we are based is a very important part of the picture.
If Everton, Arsenal, Tottenham, Brighton, Brentford, Luton, Hull, Leicester, Southampton, Swansea, Derby, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and even way back Millwall, as examples (and all teams with a better overall record than us over the past 50 years) recognise this then why are we so different?
Actually dismissing the possibility of a move is part of the overall problem. We are mired in the past as if it was some glorious history when it is actually a litany of never was.Dubois, Faithful Bantam and Hoochy-Min like this. -
What you're saying is utter tosh.
So, if I go into Bradford this morning it will be cheaper to get things from will it? Is that how it works at Morrisons @wetherbywhaler? I never knew is? I better do my shopping in Bradford then. Funny went in to Tessuti for a Stone Island jacket that cost £450 in Leeds but they had in Bradford and guess what it was still £450.
Do people that live in Bradford get cheaper holidays?
Petrol cheaper in Bradford? Better full my Merc up in Bradford then.
The only thing that's possibly cheaper in Bradford are house prices and that all depends on where you live as well.
I know loads of people from Bradford that have healthy bank accounts.loads!
Think to be honest you're thinking about your own back pocket but I fully believe the cheap season tickets is not under valuing the club and we need to start increasing the prices.
The way Bradford City currently operates we will lose fans and we won't get them back. We need to show more ambition and make the club full valued again.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Inspector, Feats Don't Fail Me Now and abbomf like this. -

I like this idea. He matches the additional revenue from ST price increase.
10k x £150 £1.5m
10k x £200 £2.0m
£500k in additional ST revenue to be matched. by Rupp.... £1m in additional overall budget.
How do we sell this to the club?
This shows commitment on both sides. The Evidence, Onside and Rogered Tart like this. -
But right now, in Div 2, an extra million in income (£150 to £250 per ST) is an enormous, 60%, increase.
At our level this is not something to be sniffed at. It may well have allowed us to keep Vaughn and Doyle whilst bringing in Novak and we have no idea what potential midfield targets we missed out on because our budget was used up,
