That is actually in Baildon. So all road traffic from Bradford, the Aire Valley, and the motorway network would have to go through the infamous Foxes Corner and then cross the only road bridge over the River Aire. Three quarters of a mile from the nearest railway station. Yes a really practical solution.

VP isn't in a terrible position. It's pretty close to a railway station and a major ring road. Better still would be bang on the Forster square retail site but of course that will never happen. Odsal is OK because you have the 3 lane Manchester Rd and the ring road converging on it. Low moor station isn't that close and the majority of our fans come from the other side of town. Central does make sense.

Sheffield United would be more than happy with that loss of £10m to achieve Premiership status ;), but others took a massive hit.

Shocking for a team of their size.

The Championship is in some weird bubble.

They reached the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow through an excellent manager but a lot of others are getting into unmanageable debt trying to do the same

I wouldn't recommend looking at Bournemouth's either on that basis

    What about them?

They're now in a better position with better owners than us and I will say that they're massive favourites for div 2 next season.

And they will be in division 2 because of their owners and overspending and are lucky to be still in existence

    Yep for me..

If Rhodes and Rupp understood football then we would of got rid of Bowyer earlier to give McCall a chance.

Next season: Bolton, Tranmere, 4 place finishers in div 2, Grimsby, Salford, Mansfield, Scunny will all have a massive say.

Rhodes gave up on this season and it's going to cost us big time because next season will be a lot tougher. Our season is now over!

When you put business 1st ahead of football then in football you fail! Bradford City is a failing club.

If we get rid of Rhodes we might stand a chance next season(he's done his job now)but for me next season will be like this but with better football.

I just can't see the budget being as good as this season and Rupp isn't putting his hands in his pockets as yet.

I hope I wrong but the club is deadbeat and that's the truth.

Absolutely agree. Central location makes sense. The talk of moving out of Bradford to the Aire Valley seems utterly crazy to me.

Because they wouldn't gain anything from it apart from more problems in turning people down. They have a finite stadium capacity.

It's the one thing that is always missed when these discussions come up. We're pretty unique in that we gave a 25k stadium but if we charged normal prices we would probably get 40% of that.

I beg to differ. Certainly where I am concerned. I have been bringing this up, banging on that they need to be increased, for as long as I have been a member of these forums.

If Rupp and Rhodes knew anything about football and had looked for a manager based on football rather than placating fans and hoping to sell more STs then they wouldn’t have appointed McCall.

Well we will have to differ then because we have twice been on the cusp of the championship when we enjoyed good budgets and great crowds. We are different from the crowd and good on us for it football certainly lower league is over priced. We have the catchment area and the stadium to do it and whilst we languish down the league we should stick with it and some gradual increases as we move up.

The comment was originally facetious. I understand supply and demand market forces. I even remember Rahic and Rupp claiming £1 tickets if we got to the premiership, I guess we wouldn't struggle to fill the stadium at that price, who knows eh?
