Only 2 people to blame and DH is not one of them. One doesn't see, hear or speak evil, the other is the evil.

Just shows that the decision to bring in Hopkin was a shot from the hip rather than a move with no strategy. You would expect a change in personnel to make a difference quite early as most new managers/coaches do. The common denominator in all the recent managers is that Abbott has had some influence on decision making and must be replaced. So as I said earlier until Rupp has the bottle to make this decision nothing will change.

What style of play, with the players we have?

We can't defend and we can't pass the ball with any degree of confidence.

I don't disagree with the issue of forcing Doyle or an other to be a target man. But I think we get into that problem playing other systems. We haven't got a genuine wide player for example. We haven't got any one who can pass the ball from the back.

The problem was the timing of the appointment. Usually either the whole team leave at the end of their contracts or the backroom staff are removed by the new manager so are free to move. Hopkin apparently declined jobs almost like he was happy to take a season off and his Livingston replacement was happy to keep the staff.

Also it’s not a bad idea keeping current staff around especially joining part way through the season as you need some insight into the club and squad. You don’t have preseason to go through to learn about the squad so you have to hit the ground running. Imagine if all the backroom staff had been removed and he had to go into competative games with no knowledge to call on

O'Connor is a terribly poor footballer watch him on the ball he couldn't tackle a bag of cement ! Everything is hesitant or badly approached. Forget the two goals he scored v Sky Blues he wouldn't be a great National League player. Put him together with McGowan and Christ help us Isherdud ! and we're well and truly screwed!

With most teams that is called a hopeful "dead cat bounce", but our garbage squad is beyond achieving even that.
