Hopkin is not the problem is he.

 

I personally want him to stay. But from his own point of view I wouldn't blame him if he walked away.

 

I didn't think it would take long for some fans to turn against Hopkin. They are just lashing out at another obvious target.
I give you McCall, Grayson, Collins and now Hopkin who have all failed miserably in 2018. And you think the answer is to get yet another manager. Reminds me very much of a certain definition of madness.

 

Funny but during the talk with Gary Bowyer we spoke about the emergency loan system not being available as from this season and he said when the likes of Dave Hopkin takes over a squad that is weakened by injuries and low on confidence he has no where to turn, all he can do it try and bring different things into training and try and make those players believe in their ability, Hopkin was always on a hiding to nothing.

 

When people were demanding that collins go, a number of us said that he was not the problem. Nothing has changed.

 

Changed my mind and I want him to stay. Another coach will only flounder just as badly and it's all a complete waste of time anyway, I'd rather Hopkin got on with identifying the few players worth keeping and those needed to arrive to assemble a decent L2 squad.

 

Embarrassing.

But just have a look at that back four today and tell me who could do anything with that?

Answer no one.

However we should not be collapsing so easy against a poor side like that.

This is the time when you need experience at this level. Hopkin has only managed in Scotland. Need a experienced assistant and a defensive coach minimum. And them in this week

 

I think Edin should sell his 20% of the club on the cheap and kindly get lost now.

Rupp needs to dig deep into his pocket in January, if he doesn't he needs to leave too.

I want to see owners who care about our club. These jokers have ruined everything we worked so hard for!!

I think Hopkin should ride it through because at the moment coming here has only messed up his CV. I don't blame Hopkin for this shambles, the fault is with Edin Rahic and Stefan Rupp.

Hopkin has been given a bunch of rejects to work with, the players on this team clearly aren't up to League 1 standard and it's Edin's and Rupp's fault we have them at the club.

Rupp should have dug deep for funds LAST January though, he's a year to late with the cash.

Nah, they are loan players, players not good enough, players on a downward career spiral and players used to losing. Not much good to us , then or now. It is an awful squad, it's bleedin obvious.

Rahic put this shower together. His fault.

 

He should go, and protect the profile he brought down from Scotland. He can easily dismiss his record here as us being a basket case club.

Totally agree, this is not down to DH, or any of the other managers who have been asked to work with Rahic and his plan. The recruitment was cheap, ill thought through, and topped off with with a cheap manager signing that hadn’t applied for the job.

 

I think he's already gone. And like him or not things are really dire now. Who in the right mind would take this job? We're already down as far as I'm concerned. A disgrace, from top to bottom. I hope the club refund tickets and travel to those souls who were brave enough to go.

 

If Hopkin walks,can't blame him.This situation is unprecedented and I can't see three or four additions in Jan changing much as they'll be lost in the inexplicable mire.A new manager? We've had them and nobody has made any difference.

The real problem seems to run deep and a complete start again with the financial backing to go with it may be our only hope of salvation.

 

I cant agree. Hes the best player we've got and the player of the season so far

 

He's inherited one of the worse squads in our history,

 

I’ll be surprised if he stays after this latest embarrassment.
