Yeah just wonder if it's right to give him 90 every week.

 

Another weekend ruined by football, what it’s bank holiday, another’s bank holiday ruined by football.

 

If it's chaotic on the pitch it must be off it. Once again we ,as a Club, are making more wrong decisions than right. Feels like we are never two passes away from self harming.

 

You got to laugh at the over reaction on here tonight.

We could easily have won that game 3-0 and been top.

And all that DESPITE the referee.

FGR play like that all the time and that's why they have very few fans.

 

How is the formation to blame it’s the tactics no tempo and midfield 10 yard too deep

 

Their players were awful sportsmen. Completely cheating, weak and snake like. FGR are despicable and i hope they fail.

 

Vaughan up front on his own is the main reason.

 

I thought we looked alright when we started to take control around the 20 mins mark. Then it went a bit flat.
Second half they had far too much space in the middle and out wide on our area. Didn't really see a goal in them though.
Up until the goal, I we defended ok. Connor Wood had a good game defenisively - his crossing and set pieces were off today.
Palmer mopped up, but I think he lacks ideas. Akpan. Even whjen he looked liked he could be arsed, he's not arsed. Henderson loves a trick. Thinks he's Deli Ali or Jesse Lindgard. Sadly he's not.
Donaldson I thought worked hard. Someone above moaning about him being slow. Well, for a 36 year old, he beat their much younger centreback for pace on a few occasion. One us a few fouls, should have got more.
Vaughan off the boil today. Worried he's going to start getting frustrated. Soon one of his overhead kicks will go in!
The new boys looked ok. Really don't want us to change our "winning" formation just to accomodate them though.
Still think we need a striker to come of the bench and give Donaldson some rest, or a chance for Vaughan to save himself from a red.

 

If this is the reaction when we lose for the first time this season, I'd hate to see what the reaction would be like if we were Scunthorpe with one point after five games. If I recall correctly there were a few on here who wanted Paul Hurst as our manager as well.

 

Typical Mark Cooper team were Forest Green. Time wasting, feigning injuries, out to frustrate the crowd. He definitely did a job on us.

However, we didnt help ourselves with the awful tactics. I know it was really hot today, but our play was really pedestrian all game.

They have very few fans because they are based in a tiny town in the Rugby Union heartlands not because they master sportsmanship. What a ridiculous statement.

 

Yep, feel totally mugged and if Bowyer wasnt happy with the lack of press then he could easily have changed it.

 

When the 2 new lads came on midfield looked much better.

Whilst it was poor tactic ms. How you can feel for the players is beyond me, the midfield lost nearly all 50/50 balls and barely strung a pass together. That’s where it was lost.

 

Yes I did. Lovely warm day. Bovril needed stirring at the bottom. Pie 5/10 again. Got to stop buying them.

Rubbish game. And an even worse ref. 0-0 would have been a fair reflection as they offered little, Oldham and Stevenage looked far more dangerous, but that’s football.

Poor tactics by Bowyer today, but I can see why he put an extra man in midfield despite the wins. But the full backs need to provide width and the non existent midfield need to win 50/50s and string more than one pass together.

It’s a team game so manager and players both need to share blame.

That said the red was an absolute joke, and killed any chance of it being a half decent game.

 

He lined up 4-1- 4-1 with a lone striker allowing them to push forward in to midfield and overwhelm us at times and the defensive midfielder was the slowest on the pitch meaning they constantly caught us on the ball, This defeat was self inflicted
