Bowyer got selection and tactics wrong such as not pressing high enough. But the players are far from blameless. They shirked out of 50/50s at times Palmer and Akpan several times. Simple passes weren’t executed and when we had the ball the full backs didn’t bomb on which left us far to narrow. That said in defence we never looked like conceding unlike the last two games until a lack of concentration because the players were winging about a legitimate free kick.

Bowyer cost us a chance at 3 points, but the players cost us a very simple point against a team we nullified with ease for 91 minutes.

You must have seen a different game only time he blasted it was straight into the main stand. He made sattelmier look like de gea and nobody went near him poor tactics from Bowyer not to tell them to run at him especially when he was between halfway and his goal.

 

I don’t disagree that we had the better chances it was more aimed at those who think we got what we deserved, we nullified them with ease for most of the game, see my comments on Trevor’s thread they explain in more detail my thoughts on the game.

I think 0-0 was fair though for the simple fact we didn’t put our chances away. You don’t deserve to win if you don’t score.
