Bewildering at times in who Adams put his trust. Canavan is not the answer for us, we need agility and pace from a sound defensive acquisition to support O'Connor. Don't know what will happen now before Monday, but we need a rejig and fix from somewhere.

If you are going to apportion blame then do so fully - no one was marking the guy who received the throw in and no one closed him down before he crossed the ball.

It is inevitable that if we allow players time to cross the ball in that they will eventually score. That said, he wouldn't have blamed Threlkeld.

 

I blame Andy Cook as much as FCD. If he’d done the job he’s paid to do, we’d have been two or three up.

 

Ultimately the blame lays with Adams, we see these tactics too often for it to be the players dropping deep to protect a lead.

It’s clear FCD and Threlkeld aren’t up to the job. Both rash in challenges and FCD’s positional sense is appalling every game.

One big concern yesterday was the subs that came on. I thought all three looked totally disinterested, one of which has only just walked through the door ffs! Very unlike Levi who should start every game for me.

 

Maybe but strikers do miss chances had we carried in the way we played in the 1st half then he may have got that other goal .............and just maybe FCD may have not been hung out to dry the players in my opinion should be at least in a play off posistion these is more than enough evidence to back that up first half yesterday proving that the reason we ain’t is down to his negative crap tactics yet again honestly I’ve defended him most of the season but when he admitted that he signed the likes of Robinson put together with his negative tactics and his hanging players out to dry then sadly I’m done with him now

Sorry for having a different opinion to you, I have championed FDC and said IMO there is little between him and Threlkeld but that was Sunday morning defending as was the second goal with regards Canavans lack lustre challenge.

I'm not a fan of managers naming individuals with regards to not doing their jobs but these errors are school boy stuff and once again cost us the game.

 

But a manager shouldn’t be doing that! It’s poor management.

Do you believe Adams actually told the same players who had 67% of the first half possession to abandon what they had done the first half and sit back, from where I sit you look down right behind the dug outs and I can tell you Adams was telling his players to push further up the pitch.
Morias summed it up, although it shouldn't need drumming into pros, Crawley have nothing to lose they will throw everything at you especially early doors, stick to what we did first half and we'll win the game.

 

Funny you never see top and good managers slating players in public, They support the team and keep it in the dressing room and training pitch like a good man should do, Protecting players is a huge part of building teamwork not blaming them for your own mistakes

 

What I don’t get about Adams is despite his great record in management he seems so cold and unlikeable and yet players seem to follow him round. His habit of calling out players is poor especially on young players still learning the game

Brian Clough did it, maybe not naming players individually just enough hints to realise who he was talking about.

Schoolboy error like not marking your man when a throw in is happening? That is PROPER schoolboy stuff. A lot happened before the ball got to the forward. Fact is, that guy should have been marked and then the throw in probably would have gone elsewhere
