I've only had good experiences (if you can call being in hospital a good experience) the few times I've been in NHS Hospitals, it's certainly not the likes of nurses doctors and consultants who are letting the NHS down maybe as others have commented the problems start at the top.

Not just fake news but the deceit, like stitching up a 2nd ref so that you can choose only between remain and the softest of a labour deal ( one where, because of labour's weakness would be dictated by EU)
Also, wouldn't press the button if we were to be attacked instead he would hold a series of meetings until 20 minutes later then boom....we're dust...!!

For the first time in my life I am going to vote labour despite the fact I deplore Corbyn.
The reason. Because they are going to compensate women who’s pension was stolen from them 3. 5 million votes there

Gullible @Park bantam@Park bantam What they say and do are two separate things, The Tories are looking at it also and may come up with a package but the cost of the Labour plan will be huge at around £58BILLION more than we spend on the whole defence budget and of course would have to be borrowed along with the £1TRILLION they have committed to borrow on your behalf, There is a reason this was not in the manifesto published only a few days ago and that is because it is a fake gimmick promise with no intention of doing it.

You really believe the man you despise will deliver that?. Come on Park, you are better than that.

Besides, 5 years of Corbyn and your private pension pots will be worthless mate

I Thoroughly dislike most of Labours pledges I saw how inefficient nationialised industry was in the sixties and seventies the era of red Robbo.
I think a rise in corporation tax will cost jobs as will tax on wealth makers. However we brought up our family at the time of constant interest rate rises and raging inflation doing two jobs to make ends meet. My wife started work at 15 and paid full stamp all her working life.we accepted the first rise in the pension age of three years but when with 12 months notice they added another 2and a quarter years on top it was beyond the pail..
We are comfortable now and our children are taken care of but we feel we are owed money of the state also a woman who worked for me ie in the same position but instead of being comfortable is caught up in Universal credit which is not working.
So as a protest because there is no chance of a labour MP being voted in here I will vote Labour as I promised our Tory MP by letter on the two occasions I have written to him.

People arent doing their research on the NHS and a US trade deal question. Its not fake news one aorta. Corbyn isnt saying the NHS wont be free at the point of service under the torys. He is saying that in order to get a favourable trade deal we are opening the NHS up to paying prices for drugs that are more competitive with what americans have to pay. putting some 27 billion on the NHS budget.

You can submit a freedom of information request of your own and find this out. Im not voting for Corbyn ever but im not voting Johnson either. Boris is lying to you or switching what he means by the NHS not being up for sale. The purchasing order contracts certainly are and it will hit us all in the pocket.

But it's a Boris v Corbyn election? Normally my home is the Lib Dems, previously it was Labour, this time it'll be Boris as I don't not want to vote.

Your 'normal' people that vote Tory are a selfish lot in my opinion. They're not necessarily bad people but they're not about society beyond themselves and people like them.

They don't care about the class divide, the enormous gap between rich and poor. They have the opinion (fueled by billionaire owned Tory media) that the poor are wasters; feckless; a drain. They think that everyone should be like them. Work hard, get a mortgage, have a holiday once or twice a year and own a car on hire purchase. And if they're having hard times then dammit they won't have that holiday this year and why can't these feckless wasters give up their iphones, their sky tv and their fags and drag themselves out of the gutter for goodness sake.

    Could never be me.

34% of the turnover of non-financial businesses in the UK comes from foreign-owned firms.

Over 50% of the turnover in manufacturing comes from foreign-owned firms.

25 of the Government's 34 strategic suppliers for the public sector including health and defence are part of large corporate groups that use tax havens.

Taking back control via Brexit, which i understand as a principle, is a myth.

Of course foreign companies are desperate to get more involved in the NHS. We have a huge tax base that is ripe for profit-taking. A Tory victory, which i think will happen, will ultimately lead to the end of the NHS as we know it and a movement to a US style system.

How do you think the selling off of the NHS to US corporations will benefit you or your family, out of interest?

With the NHS being the biggest employer in Europe i guess its always going to be targeted by the private sector and to some extent already has since the Blair days. The original concept of the NHS was innovative and inspired in its thinking, that of a 'free' at point of use health system. But that was over 70 years ago, the world has changed a lot since and then and so has the NHS. At times it seems like an out of control monster with an ever growing appetite for feeding and because of that serious thought needs to go into discussion of the long term strategy of the NHS. I already know of parts that are privatised, even stuff like car parks FFS. And speaking to friends who are NHS staff morale is at a all time low due to the constant chopping and changing of policies.

I'm all for the continuation of the NHS, and if investment is needed then we need to take a long look at how and where this money is coming from, and also how this investment is to be spent because at this moment, like the rest of the country, there seems to be no long term plan as to where it is going.

Plenty have asked you what makes you think that will happen? Because I've not read anything that says that will happen.

    That will be me then.

I wont apoligise though for working hard all my life to look after my family. For putting money away in pension funds to look after my wife and I after retirement, and savings to look after my family

I wont apologise for voting for a party who I think will act in the best interests of my family and I.

How anyone can trust Johnson on protecting the NHS or on keeping to a Brexit deadline is beyond me, his default state when put under pressure is to lie.
