History and reference points are always relevant to any debate. As usual fans simply think they are right and they can get a result, with something that has been proven time and time again not to work

Thats not true. It might be that the club announce a signing or two tomorrow that will get the fans on board. We knew these two were going some days ago, its now up to the club to spin some positivity cos at the moment its sadly very lacking.

 

You've kind of illustrated my point. Regardless of the circumstances, your intent will be to take as positive an outlook as possible. I'm not saying that's 'wrong' as such, but there are times when objective criticism is appropriate and can actually be a force for good.

The players you've listed have generally done well. Or at least 'OK'. But to be honest, I've seen very, very little criticism aimed at the players this season. The vast, vast majority has been aimed at Bowyer, Rupp and Rhodes. When there's been animosity inside the ground, its clearly been aimed at Bowyer and his tactics/coaching. Questions are rightfully being asked about the direction the club is heading and this latest signing - which comes hot on the back of Vaughan and Doyle leaving - epitomizes much of that. When DMH steps out, he'll be supported.

And what's this propaganda you and the others are getting worked up about? Bowyer is correct about one thing, if a player wants to leave, these days he leaves. No less a manager than Pep has stated this several times and you only have to see what the Erickson farce has done to Spurs

One of our disgusting fans, even brought his father into the conversation in a derogatory manner. Yet we're 7th in table and he gets all this abuse!!!

Personally I don't blame any of the players they don't have any leadership on or off the pitch thats down to management. Bowyer is not a leader every one of the players we have could go to another club and improve.We have had four different managers but the same coaching staff and nothing improves every team we play area technically and tactically better than us if Bowyer left tomorrow who would take over, dos'nt bear thinking about .

How dare fans expect a little bit of competency from a "professional" club. Hope your upbeat about our transfer business this window! Certainly a window you'd expect from a promotion chaser right? I remember when we were chasing autos. Now we're looking to hang on to the final spot in the playoffs, and we've played more game than those around us.

Being a happy clapper doesn't make you a better supporter than anyone else.

Don't follow. If you mean the Orient or Notts ones, there's plenty of others, who've moaned incessantly and had weak boards bowing down to them, i.e. Chesterfield or even Oldham who's fans were delighted when Wellens left them

I'm not saying we should never moan. We should choose the correct things to moan about. Not certain that the signing of a 22 year old winger is the correct choice!!
