Let's be honest people are still pissed off after the Rahic affair and want a reason to moan incessantly. Park is incorrect, you'd actually think we were West Ham - as they are team that never achieve anything, but their fans think they should be in the Top 6, i.e. higher than their average has been over the last 15 years

It was always going to be difficult to replace Doyle or Vaughan - but I actually think the team in terms of spirit are best without them, but of course we could so with someone coming in before the deadline

But actually, this is a decent enough squad, that if fully fit (and avoiding suspensions) is still one of the better ones.

 

We could be three points off the bottom and someone would use the example of 'well at least we aren't Bury'.

DM-H has played for 7 clubs since he left City in 2016 making a grand total of 36 appearances mostly at NL level or lower including Park Avenue. Why the hell does Boreyer think this lad is going to have any influence whatsoever on this club getting out of this sh1t fest of a league. The last thing we need trust me is a D-MH ??

Yep, I too was trying to work out what the hell that's got to do with owt.

There's ways of expressing concern. Pretty certain Park is concerned with our last three months. I certainly am. But I'm not going to waste energy been a negative influence on team whilst we have a chance of the Top 7

I fail to see what the likes of the O'Donnell, the O'Connors, BRE, Wood, Donaldson, Cooke, Connolly and Prichard have done wrong to be so overtly criticised. Yes, they've all had bad days - so has every player at every club this season

Negative Social Media, permeates into the dressing room. Totally what is not needed right now. Yes, they get it both barrels when they perform like they did at Mansfield, but this thread is ridiculous OTT

Nobody has a thing against the player. People simply state his dreadful previous record and correctly question why on earth this signing has been made.

This on the back of a manager hated by the majority of fans and letting our captain leave because he said it as it is. Connor Wood effectively confirming today Vaughan was nothing but a professional, before you bring up the 'bad egg' crap.

And letting the best striker in the league go because said manager is tactically inept.

I fail to see what man utd or even west ham have to do with anything. Whatever the size of this club, it is one who has supposed serious automatic promotion aspirations. This signing and the departures ot vaughan and doyle could be further away from such a club.

More bad press on top of an already toxic atmosphere is antagonising the situation which is why everyone is so angry.

 

Not really fair that the lad had the lot he was quick and tricky what he lacked was a bit of bulk and like so many youth team products he seem to lack the desire. Was I sorry he was released no but neither was I surprised Barnsley picked him up he had the attributes

Always amuses me that those coming out with negative criticism of others, can't stand it when it's fired back at them. I'm sure you're intelligent enough to realise that there are some fans, at every club, who go to the extreme and they are usually fuelled by a negative atmosphere set by the fans

We had these discussions two years ago, since when did protest ever alter anything for the positive in these modern times

I can’t wait to the final game of the season when Mottley-Henry smashes in a 93rd minute winner to complete his hat-trick and secures automatic promotion with 24,000 inside Valley Parade going absolutely mental. Season tickets have surpassed 20,000 and everyone knows that the summer will mean the pitch being repaired and Bowyer playing sexy football next season.

When a colleague at work told me that Mottley-Henry was back at the club, I genuinely thought he meant Omari Patrick. Good luck to the lad and I hope he does well. However, if we dont bring in, shall I say, more high profile signings tomorrow, then we might as all well boycott the rest of the season, because it feels like Rupp, Rhodes and Bowyer have already thrown the towel in for season
