What would we be doing if we were a fan of say, Swindon? Yeah thats right, the side that have just got their two top scorers back. And signed another two players in the mean time. Go have a look at their social media, the reaction from their fan, i implore you. And then look at ours, please, go look at ours. I know you, and Park especially, love to see the rosy positive side every time but even you have to admit we do have a habit of shooting ourselves in the foot.

That’s given me a good laugh along with Park comparing our fans to Man U fans....recent times downward trends started in 2001 with premier league relegation, and here we are nearly 20 years latter bumming around in league two with some of our worst football ever.

Is that the Swindon team who's had three terrible seasons before this one? Some of us understand that very few teams get an immediate return from this division and those that do tend to be those of clubs with a more 'grounded' fan base

The shrill ones, Notts County, Leighton Orient etc - get the change they are after and the relegations they didn't bank on

And I've looked at our social media. And to be honest I rarely trust the judgment of fans, they have too much emotion to see the big picture - as witnessed with the numerous times some fans wanted rid of Parky

That's not to mean that they don't want best for the club - but please they are no more passionate than me

In addition, social media always has comments from those wanting to have a moan. We forget that there are numerous quiet Bantams, who just want to support a team and whilst also want a decent team to watch, they don't think the world had ended just because we signed a player they didn't want

Well good luck to the lad he joined us in 2014 played 63 games since then (not all E.F.L ) scored 3 goals.

I know for a fact the club are desperate for the fans to get behind them at Oldham. We need to make a signing tomorrow that keeps the fans on board. Its completely irrelevant what happened at Swindon three years ago or what happened to Leyton Orient or Notts County. Its about us, here and now. And i can tell you for definite Bowyer needs all the help he can get whether that be on the pitch or off.

 

You need to get your head out of the sand. We have two llost 34 goals this week, I was willing to be patient but it is looking like we have let them go with zero plan B.

it’s ok coming on spouting all this sanctimonious stuff but can’t you see what a complete and utter farce this club is and selling it’s best players is a sure fire way to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

Notts co and Leyton Orient have no relevance in this debate.

You are completely deluded along with a few others on here. Oh and where did I mention rioting? This signing is bordering on the ridiculous, particularly after the boards statement about funds being available and then the complete propaganda surrounding Vaughan and Doyle.
