Again your making your argument look stupid with comments like 'Bowyer could win ten on the trot and you'd still be moaning about him'. What utter nonsense. You really think as fans we want to moan? You really don't think we'd much prefer to back the club to the hilt because for once they seem to be getting a January transfer window right? I know for a fact that Bowyer doesn't have it easy due to mitigating circumstances but i also understand how PR works and how important it is to keep everyone on side in what is such an emotional sport. Personally i will hang fire till tomorrow to see what reinforcements are brought in. But, and no disrespect, they have to be better than Mottley Henry.

Funds are available but players aren’t, well in that case the board and manager should actually manage this position rather than put us in a position of weakness.

I would agree about Doyle, our negotiation skills are dire and we were never likely to play to his strengths.

The club through Bowyer and Sparks have released stories which appear to be contradictory to what other insiders seem to think is the case. If you cannot see this then I have nothing further to add.

If Bowyer wins 5 on the bounce I’ll bare my arse on the pitch whilst drinking some of whatever you are drinking! Of course I want that, it’s not going to happen.. so if we take 10 points from the next ten games will you continue with the go again positivity??

Agree no need for personal insults of any kind but Bowyer is really testing the majority of fans patience.

Opinions, I think you are deluded if you think this is all gonna be hunky dory come May.

4 comments on the first page which IMO are suggesting to me the kid is not good enough for the club.
What a bloody joke we are.
    What an embarrassment!.
That's the level we're at folks - Joke
Pretty sure Bowyer is deliberately trying to p*ss us off now after all the chanting.

Doyle was never going to stay at the club, we brought him back obviously hoping he would continue scoring but in reality to call Powers bluff, Swindon continued to score without Doyle and Yeats and suddenly rather than Bradford City calling the shots Power was calling them.
The Vaughan loan/transfer may come out in the future but you commented yourself he'd looked pissed of and didn't seem to have that bounce about him any more.

Sooner they announce a real signing the better.

They should have just waited on announcing this one, because frankly it feels like a slap in the face.

You ask any Blackburn fan there opinion on Bowyer and not a good word is said on his management, he got them in the top10 of the Championship but with the best 2 strikers in the league in Jordan Rhodes and Gastede, but constantly had them on the bench and not played to there strengths, ring any bells?? It was seen as a total failure.

That's a big statement @Bantam@{Lancs}@Bantam@{Lancs} You ask any Blackburn fan there opinion on Bowyer.

You can ask some fans on here with regards the "Parkinson days" and they'll give a similar reply.

Bowyer isn’t well liked at Blackburn, ive read a shed load of comments from their fans about his safety first approach. History there IS relevant, he has carried this style into his subsequent jobs....he quit Blackpool after a nil-nil draw, sums him up.

I think they'd be more than the one, I'm not sure going onto another fans forum is the best way of finding out about a new manager or player come to that.

Are we? Are we really in the middle of a promotion push?
I'd be ecstatic to be proved wrong, but this looks nothing whatsoever like a promotion push to me.
Promotion hopefuls don't generally go to the worst form team in the country, with the leakiest defence (Orient) and set up with nine men behind the ball. And, even when it is blatantly obvious that the opposition are rubbish, and the game is there for the taking, refuse to bring on Connolly or Ismael to try to force a win. And then claim it was a good away point.

Then repeat the trick at another awful team, Carlisle.

Promotion hopefuls don't go away to the team with the worst home record in the division, who hadn't won at home for three months, and get played off the park - fortunate to only lose 3-0.

Promotion hopefuls don't usually have the best two strikers in the division, by some distance, and then release both in January because they can't find a way to get balls in the box to them.

Promotion hopefuls don't usually look like they have no coherent strategy for scoring goals beyond booting it upfield and hoping the opposition makes a mistake.

Promotion hopefuls aren't usually clinging to crumbs of comfort like taking 'hard fought' points at home against teams below them in the table.

Promotion hopefuls don't normally bore the arses off their hard core supporters to such a degree that large numbers can't even be arsed to watch the home games they've already paid for.

What this looks like to me is not a promotion push, but an inexorable slide into mid table, or possibly worse. You may call that a hysterical overreaction and I sincerely hope it is. But to me it's a considered view, based on watching half a season of mind-numbing tedium,a truly baffling degree of negativity and an almost total absence of any coherent attacking game plan.
I think I'm generally regarded as being on the happy clapping end of our support, but I'm struggling to see how Gary Bowyer is going to turn things round sufficiently to mount a promotion push. But, obviously, I hope I'm wrong.

I don't care much about who likes him or otherwise. For me it's just about moving us forward and building a platform for success. We are treading water right now and there is no progress worth quantifying in this very abject league. We owe our position as much to Lady Luck as to merit imo.
