The gaps in our squad weren't just stark, they were acknowledged by Hopkin. But worryingly he couldn't do anything to plug those gaps. Whether that was because the type of player he was looking for just weren't available or whether the promised funds to strengthen the squad weren't forthcoming or whether the club used those funds differently to how Hopkin expected is anybody's guess. But as we all know, Hopkin resigned just over weeks after the transfer window closed whilst we still had a chance of avoiding relegation.

Not having Bowyer escape without criticism, his selections have been nothing short of appalling, get Paul Hirst on the phone asap.

Bowyer says they believe they can do it! NKP said in an interview the players believe they can do it! Do us the honourable thing and spare us your absolute bullsh*t. I get why people are not happy with him but three managers haven't bee able to get them going so to blame Bowyer is odd. Did you see the response he got from Blackpool fans says a lot about the guy I think. -
We get you don’t like bowyer but I hope he gets a 2 year deal and I am willing to bet you if he gets a competitive budget next season we will be in the top 10Faithful Bantam, Onside and Morley Bantam like this. -
The ability of the players to run fast is one element. Just having midfielders with pace, is one aspect.
What strikes me about the current team is the slowness of thought.
You can pick out a good pass and deliver it quickly.
The current team seem to hold the ball too long allowing the opposition to compose themselves.
There seems to be a lack of ‘understanding’ of the players around them.
There is no aerial threat offered by midfielders.
A lot of passes are delivered which are at the player or slightly behind, rather than in front so that they are able to pick the ball up at speed.
There is a lack of ‘off ball movement’. -

They are not his players. It's Rahics fault. It's Rupps fault. It's the transfer windows fault. It's the fact we've no wide players or midfield creativity to provide service for the forwards.
Simple fact is. 12 yards out, non moving ball, one on one with the goal keeper, time to pick his spot - Doyle can't score. That's his and his fault only.
Yeah there's been gross mismanagement across the board, but the players are all equally to blame.gildersomebantam, Onside and Morley Bantam like this. -
Watching the Colchester v Tranmere match was quite an eye opener
They had a modicum of skill they put the effort in and looked like they enjoyed
playing the game
Watching that the current bunch will struggle in L2 people on here say they are championship quality players they are nowhere near the quality of the players just in that one match
This bunch irrespective of who the manager would not finish top ten in L2Craven Koppite, TallinnBantam and Morley Bantam like this. -

Let's start with those out of contract. NKP, Chicksen and Anderson will thankfully be chucked onto the shit pile where they belong and I'd be amazed if they got even a league 2 club next year, although that's not our problem. Jones, Devine, Clarke and Woods also will be gone. Caddis is the only one out of contract worth keeping although I would imagine he'd have league one offers. So he's probably gone too. So that's 8 gone so far.
Then as you rightly say the main issue is with those under contract. O'Donnell I want to keep but he may have a relegation clause like he did with Northampton so he'll probably be off. Then what's left? O'Connor, Riley, Wood, Akpan, Doyle, Scannell, Robinson, Reeves, McCarten, Mellor, Patrick, Gibson and Wright.
Gibson and Patrick I imagine will be gone quite quickly. I don't think they're on a big wedge so it won't be hard to get rid. Robinson if charged will have his contract terminated. 2 maybe 3 more gone.
It might be an unpopular opinion but I'd keep Akpan, Doyle, Scannell, Mellor and Wood. I'd imagine the first three though would see themselves above league 2 level and push for moves. And once a player pushes for a move it normally happens quite quickly, rregardless of money. If they don't and we still have them, you never know with a full preseason and a balanced squad they may be decent. So that could well be another 3 gone.
I think the hardest ones to shift will be O'Connor, Wright, Riley and McCarten. Hopefully Wright is homesick and moves back down south but I'm not holding my breath. Riley will go nowhere on the wage he is on I believe. O'Connor may be another who pushes for a move. I don't think going from Europa League to league 2 in 18 months is appealing to him. McCarten we'll be lumbered with I think. Lincoln wont want him permanently but he may do a job for us in league 2.
So i think that's more than 80% of the shite that we'll be able to get rid of. That may sound fantasy but we managed to get a fee (even if it was nominal) for shite like Poleon, managed to get Crawley to take over Vincelot's contract, Hamilton to take over Killa's (wrong decision but a high earner off the books), and got rid of Brunker to a side who probably don't pay their whole squad what he was on a week at city. I think it's possible. -
Bit harsh on Chicksen and NKP that......

Is there any option to sue Rahic for gross misconduct & mismanagement?

The whole club needs dismantling from the structure to the management to the pathetic excuse for a playing squad and rebuilding from scratch. As it is this is beyond repair
