Did he just say his 17 yr old niece had volunteered to potentially be exposed to Covid 19 to care for the 4 year old instead of calling on friends/neighbours on the emergency services in London. What a guy!
Lets go on a 260 miles trip while being really ill and potentially be involved in a car accident instead.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Bantamsteve and Fordy117 like this. -
The secret is to avoid breaking and accelerating hard. Drive sharp but leave space between you and the car in front and always look a fair distance ahead to anticipate changes in speed.River_City_Bantam and Fordy117 like this. -

I enjoyed listening to Boris blowing his vuvuzela at the start of Cummings statement to try and distract us from what he was saying.

If he had come out and immediately apologised for how it looked and made people feel and THEN set out his statement it could have worked.
Instead the wall he was building between him and the rest of the country was being built as we watched.
I think he has come out of this looking like a defensive fool. And that's damming considering his senior decision making position at the very top of Government.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Rogered Tart and Fordy117 like this. -

My friend on Facebook shared a picture of her son from the BBC news. He was one of the paparazzi photographers at his house. Deleted her. I'm all for a free press and this is certainly a public interest story but these photographers are revolting.

Looking forward to the " outrage " against the 4 Labour MPs who broke the rules , also Rab - c - Blackford , Corbyn who the government advised over 70s to self isolate . The scum who hide under the " journalist " banner are total arsewipes . This is a media / leftwing vendetta against Brexit , they refuse to accept the country voted to leave . They will do everything possible to delay / postpone the referendum result , hopefully the BBC will have it's charter reviewed and the public " Tax " to fund £300k a year presenters will end .

This is feck all to do with Brexit. It's about the government giving us all one very clear message and then doing another. Even that well known lefty rag, the Daily Mail, can see that, so how come you can't?
If other MPs have broken rules they should be dealt with. But Cummings was actually part of the process of making those rules, which puts him in a different level of culpability. Several senior police officers have said that his flouting the rules has made it much harder for them to enforce them. By continuing to back Cummings, Johnson is giving the green light to every covidiot that wants to ignore the rules or put their own personal spin on them.
Thousands of parents have stayed at home and cared for their kids whilst themselves suffering from the virus. Johnson's continued support of Cummings is effectively saying to those people, 'too bad, suckers'.Bantamsteve and Idlebantam like this. -
When Cummings was asked if he was sorry for what he did a simple "I appologise" would have stopped the media in their tracks but he actually feed the media frenzy who ain't letting this go, they have to justify their large BBC contracts.Offside and Bantamsteve like this. -

And thousands of others have done the same. Nobody told them they were allowed to travel around the country to get help before self isolation, spreading disease as they go.Jayteebee and Get Rid Of It like this. -

We'll leave it there mate without doubt a bad day at the office for Cummings he was stupid and even stupider with regards his Barnard Castle story but he got the call on the General Election right with his "Get Brexit Done" catchphrase. -
Cummins is an advisor, Politicians make and have responsibility for the policies they impose, He may have advised as am sure many other advisors had an imput in to the final policy but to think he devised and implemented it alone is left wing tosh and demonstrates what the public know, Labour is incapable of forming a government of any capability.Offside and Tony Wilkinson like this. -
