    If you Google Scannell, his stats are 23 appearances, 1 goal, 1 assist.

    Surely that can't be right...?

    Very disappointing time here, I thought he was gonna be class .

    Very little to his game suggested he was anything but average. Seems to have got through his career with pace and power but they are the first things to deteriorate as you get older. Yet another Rahic/Abbott masterstroke.

    Yep, McLean got 7 goals in 37 appearances and 2 assists! Scannell played 24 for us

    Got to love this forum. People banging on about Bowyer playing 4-4-2 with Scannell on the right one day, and then slating the player the following day because he’s probably leaving. Standard.

    Photo is damning evidence and extremely disappointing if true. Getting rid of the only pace we have and one of the few wingers we have. 4-3-3 all season I suspect.

    Any reason we always seem to bring players in/out near the end of the week? Surely it’d be more beneficial to do it on a Monday so they have time to get to know their new teammates before a game!

    I'd rather play 4-3-3 than have to play the ineffectual Scannell. One goal and one assist in 23 games is laughable for a supposed championship quality player.

    It also says, plays as a winger. That was his position with Maidenhead, that's where Bowyer played him at Blackpool. Anyhow, does it matter, winger, left midfield, whatever you want to tag him, its a position where we are short
