Confirmed: Scannell to Blackpool

Yep we'll definitely need to see him in his preferred position. Stats aside, I don't see him as being a huge goal threat, but the fact that hes scored goals in the league above shows hes capable of it. If as you say he can be the supply line to the strikers, and do this regularly, then I cant see any negatives with his signing. He arrives with no ego, no past reputation to rely on, everything to prove and at 26 his best years are in front of him.

Think I read somewhere that he picked up a thumb strain when signing his new contract and they didn't want to risk it.

 

He didn't look fit enough for L2 cameos, he won't be anywhere near L1 level yet.
