T&A saying no deal done yet, which means nothing.

I like Scannell. He hasn’t been a world beater so far this season but I maintain he’s too good for league two. Kind of feel he’s a round peg been squeezed into a square hole at the moment given the chosen formation and other players within the squad. Hazard to guess his wage is high for League two so is freeing this up to bring others in a bad move? Only if other recruits don’t come in IMO.....

 

Well managers like their own selections and his stats are decent so we wait and see

If Scannell doesn't want to be here what's the point in blocking a move he hasn't really done anything of note anyway. You can have the best reputation in the world but if your not motivated it will not make any difference the performances won't be great.

Just keeping my fingers crossed GB has some one lined up to replace him if it happens.

 

6 goals in 50 for Blackpool another star signing if true and he plays midfield.

 

Of course we wait and see but reading Blackpool fans comments they ain't sad to see the lad go. I'd rather see us use a loan on an unknown championship or Premier league youngster.

I think we have had enough Blackpool cast offs tbh. We need a strong midfielder, now do they have one of them? If not we find a club that does.

We should change the clubs name to Bowyers Blackpool reunion.

 

He is a left winger playing in a higher league to us played nearly every game and scored 6 I would have liked Scannell to stay but if he isn’t this guy looks OK

 

Scannell has been a real disappointment for me. Possibly the injury situation has really put him back but can't recall him beating a man and whipping a decent cross in so far this season.

If the rumour is true then it should free up money for us to get at least 2 more signings.

 

Not fussed about Scannell. Can’t beat a man, can’t cross. Every full back he’s come up against since he’s been here has had him in their back pocket.

A good deal to save on his apparent high wages and bring in someone else.

Sometimes its better the devil you know. If the players do a job for GB and get us promoted I don't care if the whole team are ex Blackpool .

 

To be fair to Scannell he can't be blamed for last seasons debacle as he was out injured for most the season, but from what I've seen in the time that he has played for us he hasn't been particularly impressive, especially when considering that he is one of our high earners.

Give me a Kyel Reid or a Mark Marshall over Scannell anyday, their end product was questionable but at least they could regularly go past defenders.

 

I'm not sad in the slightest to see him go, massive wages in this division. The fact he looked like a one trick pony as well and it was the right decision to let him go. Have to wait and see what players are brought in on the back of this. Pritchard if true just smacks of taking whatever Blackpool didn't want just to make a deal. Need a Cullen/O'Brien type player desperately. Could offer Akpan, Anderson and Devine as a buy one get two free.
