It was a handball unfortunately. Can see clearly on the replay Donaldsons arm touches ball before it went over the line.

Really pleasing attacking display in which we looked dangerous. Connolly ran them ragged.

 

Great to have a player that gets you off your seat. So much better than the stodgy football we've played for the last eighteen months. Some of our breaks today were lightning quick.

 

We sit right behind the goal and didn’t see anything wrong with the goal. Thought the ref got that one wrong.

 

Agree. Thought it hit his arm after it crossed the line. Linesman was the only official who could see it and he gave the goal, thankfully no harm done.

 

Is it too early to hope we sign him permanently?

He hasn't done anything at Wimbledon, but when he starts getting goals and assists I think he could be a real talent.

I hope we aren't warming him up for them...

 

Although not a classic there were several good performances

The kid Ismail took his chance very well a good setup from Donaldson.

 

Wonder which of the officials saw it

 

Ismail is 26 in December, bit mean to label him a kid !

 

Think they got rid because they don’t play with wingers anymore, although a change in manager from them could see him be in their plans.

 

As I've posted the lino on the Midland Road side flagged for a goal and was running back to the centre circle, if it was the ref who made the call I think it was down to the Carlisle players gesturing it was hand ball, it looked like a hand was used but we are well up in the Sunwin and certainly got a better view than the ref at ground level.

 

Hes a kid compared to me, if he keeps coming on and sticking em away as he did today he and Connolly will make our attacking options down the right a nightmare for oppositions left backs.

 

Agree although Cooke had a very good game I'm not sure he's 100% yet.

 

Looks a great player doesn't he? Will only get better and stronger.

McCartan didn't get on again, perhaps be on his way in January?

 

It was handball, sat in the A block of Midland Road he bundled it over with his arm in the melee.
The Lino was perfectly placed to see it but strangely gave a goal. It was the Carlisle players protesting tha made the referee ask the Lino for his view. The Lino then changed his mind.

 

When you say "touches" was it going in anyway or did he divert it in?

Agree, Dylan wasn't just good, he was superb,put them on the backfoot and gave a display i have yet to see from either Vaughan or Donaldson.
Entertaining, no wonder wimbledon fans were not happy to see him loaned out.
Plenty of praise from others for Wood(crosses and some last ditch tackles), which is good to see.
Great effort from Cooke and Palmer and Pritchard.
O'Donnell a couple of important saves and Paudie keeping it all together at the back...........just.
Loved watching this game so no complaints from me.

 

I’ll watch it again but i’m pretty sure he didn’t put it in with his arm, he kind of rolls it in with his chest. I was going off on one behind the goal i was that pissed off.

 

Paudie was average today, first half he was turned a few times by either the striker he was marking ir by balls played behind. BRE was the better CB until he got himself needlessly sent off.
