Why can we not have a fair and even game without abysmal officials? Every week they are a disgrace.

 

Totally the case, for all that is still not quite right with our 'new' team when we went behind last season you just felt it was game over - no longer the case. Interesting that GB gradually seems to be replacing the players that we all know are not good enough, lets hope we see a settled team in the next couple of games with obviously AOC in for BRE

 

Akpan again conspicuous in his absence from the squad, what a waste of a wage and even oxygen at this point. Seems like Bowyers gonna stick with 4-4-2 and has something close to a settled side now. Whilst we aren't clicking and playing a perfect 90, we have a team that's prepared to fight and not give up which is definitely a strong foundation to build on.

 

Best performance of the season. Connelly motm for me, though Pritchard was very good too. And Cooke made a huge difference. We had a proper midfield today

 

L2 for you mate, most aren't full time pros and have other jobs, if they were any good they'd be reffing the prem. As long as we play our game and don't get hung up on the officials being poor it shouldn't affect us too much.

 

A few been sniping at Palmer recently, look what happens when you stick a good player alongside him, no one can boss a midfield on their own, best performance in a city shirt, Cooke very good too

We were excellent all round 2nd half

 

Thought that was the best performance of the season. Bar a 10 minute spell midway through the first half when they dominated and scored I thought we looked comfortable.

Midfield was excellent, all 4 of them played well and used the ball well providing the front 2 with plenty of balls and supporting well on the edge of the box. Onwards and upwards if we can keep that level of performance up.

 

Any one of those 3 would be a deserving winner of motm for me. Annoyed with BRE though, absolutely ridiculous, what on earth was he thinking?

 

Good to see isnt it, credit where credits due - lets hope GB doesnt tinker more than he needs to

 

Agree, although let's accept Cooke and Palmer will get overwhelmed at times, like they were in the first half. BUT once on the ball, they were too good for Carlisle.

I also said at the time I thought a City player had put iti n with his arm, but the linesman on the Midland Road side gave a goal and was running back to the center circle and the referee was in a position whare he couldnt see for sure so it will be good to hear who made the call, the 4th official ?, because he was pitch level and on the halfway line and could not have called the goal without doubt.

 

Best performance of the season but Everton will be a big miss.

last 2 games hes been slack. O Connor has looked steady

 

Yep. Palmer was able to do his thing and looked much better. Let's hope those 2 stay fit because theres zero depth in quality.

The lad has had a good season generally but his stupid tackle at Cheltenham cost us dearly and his sending of was again a stupid unnesasary challenge we were bossing the game then he's off and Carlisle tails go up and we were holding on at times.
