Maybe so just going on what I have read on here re Dividends
Am convinced we are no more than a vanity project to Rupp a talking point with his friends
Sparks threatening (if true) to walk out over the wagmi deal was a massive risk as you say his CV wouldnt get him another job at his current stature/salary making me think they are both comfortable for the long haul happily taking money for season tickets sponsorship etc whilst offering nothing in return

 

Not as telling as not buying season tickets and not renewing sponsorship
It's the only thing to force their hands

 

That'll be just like a normal Saturday for me. Constantly up and down for the first 10 minutes after kick off while if seems like half the stadium file past to get to their seats!

 

That might be fine for the casuals to boycot games and not renew tickets because those are the fickle fans who quite probably don’t give a crap if we win lose or draw or go bust.
For many though, watching this football club is their life and you’re asking them to simply stop attending? It will never happen.

 

Mainly Poland and Germany. Just try and take a game in when I go on holiday. I love the mentality over there.

 

Small steps, the empty stadium , would show what the effect will be if we carry on in this vain, reduced attendance will lead to less income and a smaller playing squad.
I am not one for deliberately with holding from buying tickets, not sure we are at that stage yet. Yes the football is currently very poor, but other than that the club is probably run how all clubs should be and that is to stand on its own two feet, if the owner wants to then supplement that, great.
The debt in Football is immense and it will probably lead to more of the smaller clubs going bust in time.

 

Ditto, but no one in the seats, Sparks can not miss that and i am pretty certain he will re lay it to Rupp

I totally agree. As has been said on other threads, for many the Saturday football routine is a way of life, each to their own

I would be totally behind a mass walkout at a home game, however, if it makes people take notice. Sparks would soon shit his pants if sponsors started dropping him due to lack of audience/footfall

 

I wouldn’t say it’s my life but the Saturday matchday “experience” with my wife is very much part of our lives.

I’m fairly certain i will get a season ticket but this is as close as I have ever been in 40 years to not getting one.

I constantly go on about it being a chore on a Saturday.
The whole matchday has just felt different in recent years.

I don't think he will at all. He talked of metrics (as did Alexander) in his 'interview' with Parker and how they've all increased since Alexander came in, in terms of pressing, running, energy etc....that's what he'll be relaying to Rupp not the 7 game winless run. 'Look boss, everything has increased since I sacked Hughes, aren't I good...'
