Correct, new fans will be already getting fed up and finding other things to entertain them, especially on a weekend

It absolutely infuriates me that investors wanted to buy us yet the German fecked them off

I’ve been going since the start of the 90’s. My lad is now 18, and he represents the next generation. He’s been going since 2012, despite his very first game being a home loss. We have hardly missed a home game together, and have travelled the country for countless away days. This season, he is on course to achieve one of his earliest wishes when he started following us - to attend every single game in a season. He went to Grimsby on a Tuesday night for the BMST group game. He took the day off work to drive his mates to Forest Green. He saw us lose on the first day at relegation favourites Crawley. He is hooked and committed to being a bantam for life. He’ll never give up on us, more of a fan than I ever was.

Rupp, Sparks and Gent really have no clue the damage they are inflicting on this club and its supporters

Hi everyone, I can confirm it was me. I was a little tired by that point. It had been a long day. I stand by what I said. We need a plan, the club to engage with us all as supporters, and a willingness from the club to execute that plan. Here's hoping we all get what we want as fans.

That’s my take too. This was never going to be an Oscar worthy production or comparable to an EU summit. They’re trying to get the conversation going, to create advocacy and unity for the concerns fans have. I’m not going to knock them for it. It’s a first step, credit to them for it and those who’ve turned up.

If nothing else, its again shone a light on the fact that there’s credible interest in buying the club. It’ll up the pressure on Sparks, which is necessary (in a non-personal sense).

I posted on here before the meeting that I didn't expect anything tangible to come out of the meeting. That wasn't intended as a criticism but rather a matter of experience in these unstructured meetings. There was a lot of whingeing going on and implied criticisms on all sorts of things. I detected there was the start of a bit of a turf war between the new group and a couple of established groups. That was to be expected in fairness at this stage and needs to be nipped in the bud by everybody.

I missed the first 10 mins or so and have no idea who were the two guys who chaired the meeting on the top table. I thought they were right to let some of the discussions continue despite their being little point in what was being said!

A key point for me was one of the chairs said he had some ideas on how to proceed which he wanted to share with the meeting. Unfortunately, my link went down after about an hour and I never saw these ideas or indeed whether he shared them. For those who were there, eg @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam it would be helpful to get those ideas put into the public domain somehow for others to see. Because of my link, I have no idea whether there were any firm plans on how to take some of the issues further with the club.

On balance I'm pleased that the meeting was organised. It shows to others, including the club, that fans are genuinely concerned about the situation and will go out of their way to express their views and attempt to move things on. Over time, I expect things will become clearer within the group and more cohesive. It would be wearing for everybody to pursue the club on too many fronts and dilute the effort.

I really hope that the club listens to these concerns and doesn't try to ignore them. They're not going away until changes are made at VP.

Gentlemen, thank you for this. All good points. The action we announced, and which you will see on our social platforms and in here, is designed to raise awareness and bring the club out of hiding. The task ahead is hard and I am under no illusions of the scale of it. We may fail but the more support we have from our fans, the more leverage we have to continue to exert pressure on Stefan Rupp and Ryan Sparks to come to the table. As for ongoing negotiations with the club, it will always be about the supporters, their conditions, and praising the club when they action positive things and challenging the club when they fail to meet their obligations to our supporters. If the situation arises where it becomes about me then I will resign with immediate effect. I would rather just be a supporter and all that entails. We know that not all fans will agree with some of the actions we are planning, and we feel it is equally as important that the views of fans who may disagree that the job that Rupp and Sparks have done so far is poor, are represented as well. However, we have to look at the biggest percentage of fans, and currently they are not happy with Sparks and Rupp. If we are to achieve change for our supporters and get communication back to levels that they should be then we need our supporters to take a chance on us and back the action and help me...It takes a lot of time so far and I am juggling trying to run my business, being a husband and a father alongside love for the club and it's supporters...I feel balder already. Thanks for the kind words guys. I will keep trying to deliver what we all need. Please support us if you can. I have no God given right to ask but I could do with all the help I can get.

    Back home now. My thoughts.

Plenty of passion about where we are at and wanting to reverse that.

The meeting went on too long with lots of covering old ground already discussed. Should have been capped at- 45-60 mins.

Didn't need the first section of moaning about what's gone wrong.

Positives are that we now have a concerted group looking to effect change for the better good of the club. The chair is media savvy and with Jamie Raynor there I know we will get the required publicity as we move forwards. Should get the press needed to get Rupp's attention.

As fans we either shit or get off the pot. Give up or fight for the club we love. There are people out there willing to buy the club so we need Rupp to do that and they bring in a footballing team.

Wants the fans to have some form of discourse with the owner and then ridicules any attempt at initiating any discourse with the owner.

    Sad,sad old man.

I don't believe Sparks would ever walk. He's the most "over promoted" individual in the history of over promoted people. Not even the Civil Service over promote people in the way he has been elevated. If he walked he would get a job running a social media account for a small marketing company on a third of his salary, he will cling on until he' either arrested or dies.

If all it did was bring Rupp to the table to listen to the fans concerns them it would have been a success. It might sound daft but we actually want the guy to succeed, cos if he does it means we are moving in the right direction. If he has no thought of showing an interest then tell us you have no interest, it might mean nothing to him other than getting his money back, but as I discussed with Bronco last night, we all have an emotional attachment to this club. To us it's more than just a balance on a spreadsheet, it's part of who we are. With him not being a football man I'm not sure, with respect, that he'll ever understand what it means.

It’s easy to have a go. But it’s a start. Maybe this forum could organise a specific thread that’s aimed at building ideas for how different groups could work together to mobilise around ideas and a plan. I.e. we have plenty of threads for sounding off, but what about a carefully moderated thread that aims to engage with other forums and supporters group. Aim to collaborate properly.

After watching that tonight i'm not really surprised at where we are in the table. I actually think the whole mentality of the club, from the owner, the CEO down to the fans and the players on the pitch is lower league 2. I'm at a point where i love the club but have little to no enthusiasm left. After Parky gave the club its soul back, Messrs Rahic and Rupp have squeezed that soul back out.

You have to wonder what is going through his mind when posting this attempt to discredit the event when he actually attended it himself.

What's needed in my opinion is for one of the potential buyers to put their head above the parapet and publicly declare their interest. That way we can go after Rupp and Sparks with real evidence of interest. At the moment it's "I know for a fact but can't tell you" and this plays right into their hands.
As for last night, Rome wasn't built in a day and it may have been a bit disorganised, but it is, far as I can remember, the first real attempt to get disillusioned fans together in a room, and online at the same time. Hats off to the organisers. It's all well and good having a pop, but what do those doing so, propose that we do as a collective?
I wonder if @JonButterfield@JonButterfield can dig out his old contact book and resurrect the fly past. It's the one thing Rupp was so afraid of in the first place. It needs to be ready for a big audience, and should we beat Donny tonight, maybe the semi-final (if that's live on sky), would be the perfect opportunity.

I've been here already this season taking a two month sabbatical. I'm back at this point. I went to Derby with hope of a trip to Wembley and took in 3 or 4 games beyond but can't even muster the enthusiasm to watch tonight and have made alternative plans. My diary is now booked to late March in which Bradford City are not part of. In my sabbatical, I actually enjoyed not being part of a boring, non entertained world, far too full of negatives.

I also applaud those with the energies to fight on and have respect for the likes of @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam and @JonButterfield@JonButterfield not withstanding my own son. To be honest, the likes of @Park bantam@Park bantam will get there way and see the club further regress, as they are happy doing nothing, which ultimately damage the club and it's fanbase.

Ironic, my actions are kinda doing the same as Park.
