City Vent Fans Forum - now at Latvian Club Mon 29th Jan @7.00pm

The City Vent have organised a supporters get together for those interested.

The Fans Forum will now be held in person 7pm Monday 29th January at the Latvian Club in Bradford. Everyone is welcome to come along, remember we can't do it without you, every single person that comes along makes a difference. The bar will be open. Come have your say.

Are they still having this as someone has posted they are having a fans forum at the Latvian club 4 days later ?

 

The Latvian Club forum replaces the previous online one advertised.
I posted the article on behalf of the Vent in the hope they receive a good response.
I'm sure the lads involved have the club's best interests at heart.

 

Could they not do both as some fans could do the zoom one where as not everyone can attend the one at the Latvian club due to not living in the area ?

I'm interested to hear what ideas are going to be put on the table.

This is a slightly different situation than it was under Rupp and Rahic, and I can't see how someone flying to Germany solves it this time. Sparks isn't doing anything malevolent, he's just not competent. Rupp also isn't going to admonish himself.

So yeah, pressure needs to be put on Rupp, he needs to know the strength of feeling against his ownership of he club, but this feels like a long slog rather than simply forcing Rupp to panic.

I agree, I posted above my support but unfortunately I'm working otherwise I'd have been there to see if there's any chance of formulating something serious or not.

 

I think so, but I too need clarification as I've never been!

 

I'll consider coming along and see if I can contribute in any way - how big is the Latvian club, i.e will there be enough space for potentially a fair amount of folk turning up? Also assuming it's just a turn up job.

 

Well we might not all agree with each other sometimes but hats off to the city vent lads for arranging this. They must obviously have the best interests of the club AND fans at heart. Regardless of how it pans out, it is a start to what is hopefully the first steps of prising these shit heads out of our club. I will try and get down there and add to the numbers

I have been in. It’s a few years ago, but it is quite big and I think it has a few rooms. I can’t remember the road but defo one of the villas on the left going towards VP. Right at the bottom of the road in the right corner.

 

Yes that’s it. Probably room for up to 100 with a squeeze.

 

I hope its a good turnout. If numbers are low the club might see that as a few disgruntled fans who don't have the backing of the majority. I can't make it being out of the country, but if its the start of forcing change at the top then I'm in, whether that be new owners or someone to run the football side of things instead of, or alongside Sparks.
