    Quite interested to see how we fare tomorrow. Be hoping for some more encouraging signs in what should be a good test. Whilst you can’t read too much into these games, we certainly want to be seeing plenty of positives.

    Exactly. As I alluded to earlier, GB should have an idea or two, and Wigan will show whether his judgement is right, or needs tweaking, some. Probably the latter, as he's playing sub standard trialists too. ;)
    (I say sub standard, as not one has been outstanding against poor, lowly opposition. These are games / opportunities where players need to shine, rather than just partake in a game, against plumbers and electricians etc !!)

    Remember when platters of salted dripping (on bread) and roasted potatoes were served FREE to all and sundry on a Sunday lunch time ? A lot of pubs had a footballing 'household name' just a table or two away. These days it's all about exclusive, and VIP memberships ............. To some of the crappiest bars known to human kind ! LOL.

    An' who can forget the Boddingtons beer add, where 'mucky chip fat' was a sun lotion ha ha ha ha.

    Edit;
    For Bradfordians ......... There's a Cleckheaton Butcher who STILL serves Pork Dripping. £1 for half a tub, and £1.50 for a full one. The BEST I've tasted since the glorious 60's ;) Not overly 'fatty' with lots of 'colour' and flavour from the jelly. I can have half a dozen slices just for elevensies, lol.
